We're not quite ready to deliver our final verdict on Dragon's Dogma 2 right now. Because of circumstances outside of our control, we still need to finish the main quest, and then check out how the game handles New Game+ — which was a staple component of the original Dragon's Dogma.

It's taken 12 years, but Dragon's Dogma 2 is finally swooping onto store shelves this week, and judging by the early review scores, the wait has been worth it. 

I just finished making my character for Dragon’s Dogma 2 thanks to the free character creator demo released ahead of the game, and I’m overjoyed at how gloriously, convincingly old I can be in this game. I feel very seen and very represented.

Cyan’s classic PC adventure game Riven: The Sequel to Myst is getting an Unreal Engine 5 remake later this year. Although Cyan’s last game experienced controversy surrounding the use of AI content, Cyan confirmed to Digital Trends that the Riven remake does not use any “AI-assisted content.”

The narrative adventure is all about high school life in the Philippines, as protagonist “Mark Borja and his friends navigate the joys and woes of another year of high school”.

The original Dragon's Dogma was Capcom's first crack at creating a grand adventure role-playing game that married elements of its high-octane action games, like Devil May Cry, within a western-style high-fantasy setting. In the years since its debut, Dragon's Dogma went from a cult favorite to an essential RPG thanks to its unique take on exploring a large fantasy world with a squad of adventurers as they engage with the many foes and emergent systems in the game.

The Unreal Engine 5 remake of Riven: The Sequel to Myst, previously known as Riven: New Discoveries From the Lost D'ni Empire but now officially just called plain-old Riven, is coming this year, original developer Cyan Worlds has announced. 

Patch 10.2.6 adds new meta achievements for some of Dragonflight's main factions. These meta-achievements reward players for completing the activities from each faction, and each rewards a new mount.

With Patch 10.2.6, a new expansion-wide meta-achievement similar to Veilstrider from Shadowlands. The reward for this achievement is the goodest boy Taivan as a mount.

Following a number of rumors and an eventual leak, Lego has revealed its first collaboration with Dungeons & Dragons: a new set inspired by the classic tabletop game, just in time for its 50th anniversary. Officially titled the Lego Ideas Dungeons & Dragons: Red Dragon’s Tale, Lego Insiders can pre-order the $359.99 set starting April 1 exclusively from the Lego Store, while everyone else can roll for initiative beginning April 4. About a year and a half after the Riven remake's announcement, Cyan Worlds revealed today that the game will launch later this year on PC with support for VR platforms.
