The second War Within build has added a variety of interesting models, including more Nerubian raid weapons, garden shovels, and hearty feasts.

War Within datamining has produced produce! New green onion and garlic weapons will be coming soon. The garlic is an off-hand while the green onion is a 1-handed mace.

One of the characters being explored in the War Within is none other than Magni Bronzebeard, who we haven't heard from much since Battle for Azeroth. Magni is further explored in the Ringing Deeps, the second zone of the War Within, and an important event happens to him!

Sometimes there’s a game that’s just a delight to write about, however you slice it. That’s how I feel about getting to tell you about Oyster Wars, a platforming game that melds the fluid movement of Celeste with the puzzle dungeons and hookshot traversal of Zelda. Oh, and top of that it’s about rebelling against capitalism via oyster farming - and it’s made by a real-life oyster farmer. Let’s get into this package of joys.

Players looking to race through new content might have a bit of a headstart with new Enchantments coming in The War Within — both for Mount Speed and Character Speed! Some particularly interesting Enchantments caught our eye while datamining in The War Within: While most of these Enchantments add the Speed tertiary stat to player character speed, one Enchantment seems to offer an increase in Mounted speed — Cavalry's March. Players have loved effects such as Crusader Aura which increase Mounted speed, and having even a small boost on your Boots would be a welcome gift for players that don't necessarily worry about mix-maxing for raiding or other content.

MY.GAMES has just launched a new rogue-like first-person shooter, Zombie State. Since its beta release, this game has skyrocketed to nearly 1 million installs. In case you’re not in the know, MY.GAMES has dropped other hit titles like Rush Royale, Left to Survive, War Robots, Rush Arena and Warface.

This has been a pretty busy week for new releases, with the likes of Another Crab’s Treasure, Stellar Blade, Sand Land, and more coming out. Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft’s video game subscription service, has also had quite a busy week. Three games in particular stand out as must-plays this weekend for those who want to delve a bit further into the service rather than spend money on a new game.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the Sand Land game has made some big changes to one of the manga's most well-known easter eggs, which name-dropped Dragon Quest 13 and the PlayStation 6.

Blizzard has outlined the goals of the Fire Mage Rework, now live on the War Within Alpha! They want to address maintenance buffs, and allow for more choices in AoE!

With a new Alpha build for the War Within, a previous TBD title is now revealed! Defeating Queen Ansurek in the Nerub'ar Palace raid on Mythic difficulty will award you with the Queenslayer title with the achievement Mythic: Queen Ansurek.

Blizzard has posted development notes on the General and Affliction Talent Tree reworks in The War Within, noting that they want Malefic Rapture to be the go-to spender for both single-target and multi-target situations.

War never changes. The retrofuturistic apocalypse world of Fallout has graced fans with pretty regular releases since 1997, letting us explore the North American wasteland in the aftermath of a nuclear war in a variety of regions.

Following its release in Japan in December 2023, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War is now set to launch globally. Userjoy just dropped an announcement that Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War Global will be hitting mobiles on May 29th. And pre-registrations are open now.

Aspyr has released Update 2 for Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection six weeks after its disastrous launch.

I wasn’t expecting to love Stellar Blade. From the overly sexualised outfits that dominated its pre-release discourse, to the boss battles that looked a bit too difficult for my liking, I wouldn’t have been surprised if I bounced right out of it after a few minutes.

The War Within brings changes throughout Azeroth, and Professions are no different! With the traditional new expansion Profession update, Gathering and Crafting Professions are seeing new recipes, new Knowledge Point trees, and fun new interactions for players to explore within the crafting systems. One such interaction comes from Cursed Enchantments — the first Enchantments to ever have a Kiss-Curse mechanic in World of Warcraft. Kiss-Curse mechanics are commonly referred to when players experience a large potential downside to a beneficial upside on an item or effect. While previous items in Dragonflight had minor Kiss-Curse mechanics, such as Toxic Thorn Footwraps reducing Stamina by 61, the positives far outweighed the negatives, leading to very powerful, sometimes BiS items. These new Cursed Enchantments, however, will require a bit more thought and caution — while you'll gain a significant amount of a secondary stat of your choice depending on the Enchantment, you'll also lose a large amount of another secondary stat.

We've datamined several pieces of special effect gear and trinkets from The War Within alpha, including a two-piece weapon and trinket set for agility classes! Although not all confirmed, most of these items appear to come from the first raid in The War Within, a Nerubian themed zone in which we face off against the underground arachnid kingdom.

Datamined achievements reveal that Dragonriding Races are returning in The War Within, with new achievements for four of the five major expansion world zones! Although not given themed names in the data yet, each of the four zones features six races, with Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals for the Normal, Reverse, and Advanced variants of each race.

The actor behind JD Fenix might have teased upcoming Gears of War news for the scheduled Xbox Showcase this June.

In Dragonflight, Professions as we knew them were completely revamped: gone were the days of simply crafting an item in one go; instead, players could craft, recraft, and recraft again the same items over and over in order to produce consistently stronger weapons, armor, trinkets, and profession gear over time. One key piece to this system was Sparks — Optional Crafting Reagents that allowed players to adjust the minimum item level a piece of gear would be crafted at. Based off our datamining, it looks like that system will continue in The War Within.

The name Infogrames will ring a bell for many gamers out there; the name appeared on many popular titles on pretty much every platform. Now, the brand is making a comeback. Atari has announced the revival of Infogrames as a new publishing label.

Gazing out across my lively medieval burgh in Manor Lords, I see great promise. The detailed buildings, villagers, and landscapes are always pleasant to look upon. The complex, rewarding, if not necessarily precision-balanced economy is entertaining and intuitive to interact with. And the war cries of my homegrown militia, off to bash some bandits, remind me that each bloody clash is costing someone a son or a husband. But for all its potential, Manor Lords is an extremely Early Access-feeling Early Access game at this point. Sometimes, it even seems more like a proof of concept than a finished product.

Stellar Blade is one of those action-adventure boob games. You probably know the ones I mean, where you fight off huge monsters using incredible powers whilst wearing skin-tight fetish outfits. We’re talking head-to-toe black leather that looks like it was painted on with incredibly thin paint, and that’s one of the more reserved options you have for dressing up Eve. Once you’ve adjusted to the constant fetishisation, there’s a pretty enjoyable game to be found in here with quite a few interesting quirks, along with a few not-so-interesting ones.

On paper, the PlayStation 5 Pro's 45% faster GPU should be enough to fix issues in GPU-limited scenarios, such as in games aggressively using dynamic resolution scaling.

Helldivers 2 has a wide variety of terrain to overcome, each one filled with bots, bugs, and any other sentient alien race that would prefer you to be a red stain on the floor. You'll struggle to find a location as universally despised as Hellmire though, a bug-ridden planet prone to the odd fire tornado, and one that Helldivers 2 players aren't going anywhere near anytime soon.

Powerful rewards await in Season 4 to deliver the best of what the Dragonflight expansion offers. Jump into the new Mythic+ dungeon rotation, rally your forces for new challenges in raids, prepare for the new PvP season, and ready yourselves for The War Within.

Star Wars Day is coming up and some of you will likely have ways you mark the occasion each year. While rewatching the original trilogy again is a great way to celebrate May 4, adding a few items to your Star Wars collection isn't a bad idea either. Hello! Welcome to the 323rd edition of the WoW Economy Weekly Wrap-up! This week we take a look at the initial flurry of information coming with the War Within Alpha and how it might affect gold making and professions. We also take a look at the economy in Season of Discovery and how the inflation of incursions has influenced gold making. My name is Samadan and I'll be your guide through the World of Gold Making!

We have a preliminary list of all enchants available in The War Within expansion. These include many weapon enchants, cursed ring enchants, which boost one stat but reduce another, and even a mount speed enchant! Note that all of this is alpha information, which will likely change before launch based on feedback. Values aren't final, either.

Similarly to what happened to Solo Shuffle in Dragonflight, The War Within is formalizing Battleground Blitz addition to the PvP modes of WoW. This addition includes new seasonal rewards exclusive to the mode.

The War Within is packed full of new cosmetic Transmogs to earn, so finding some linked to the Professions system is a no-brainer! Players will be able to learn a new Artisan's Ensemble in The War Within — but only after putting in some work, first.

Work Orders have been a controversial addition to Crafting Professions since the rework in Dragonflight. While many players appreciated the ability to simply press a button to craft instead of having to go through a lengthy trading process, others quickly lamented the lack of Public Work Orders — or more specifically, Public Work Orders that were worth the gold to craft them in terms of pay. Blizzard has heard these criticisms and announced a new feature for Work Orders in The War Within: NPCs will place Work Orders in the crafting system to potentially alleviate some of the availability scarcity that currently plagues the market. Announced in the latest Wowcast, Blizzard stated that the NPCs won't provide monetary payments as lucrative as crafting Work Orders for other players.

Blizzard has posted upcoming Priest hero talent updates on the War Within Alpha, noting that Oracle will get a capstone change and the Archon tree will revolve around Halo!

Microsoft and IGN have announced the IGN x ID@Xbox Digital Showcase, which will be taking place on April 29th. It will be commencing at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST, and will have updates from various projects including Vampire Survivors, Dungeons of Hinterberg, 33 Immortals, and Lost Records Bloom & Rage. Other games will be showcased too, including Palworld and what players can expect next for that.

Update: It appears the PS Store jumped the gun somewhat, as it's now been confirmed Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will join EA Play on Thursday, 25th April 2024. Active members will be able to download and play the full game then.

We've datamined Winter Veil 2024 gifts, tucked and wrapped away in the first War Within alpha build!Box of Puntables is the 2024 Winter Veil Gift inside Gently Shaken Gift, which allows you to summon and punt creatures. There are two achievements referencing the 2024 gift:

Players looking to tackle the toughest content in The War Within are likely all too familiar with the preparation needed for raids, PvP, and Mythic +. To fully unlock your potential, you aren't just running into an instance portal full speed into a pack of enemies — you're toting a full bag of consumables along with you to provide every edge possible. The War Within will be no different, offering players both new and more familiar consumables to work with: everything from enchantments to flasks and potions will be on a raider's To-Do list before that weekly lockout comes around.

As expected, there are several new alchemy potions and phials coming to The War Within, though players may be surprised by some of their new effects, which include PvP content flasks that increase honor gains! As in Dragonflight, most of the profession crafted items have three ranks of quality that increase their potency, though for the sake of simplicity, only the rank 3 versions are linked below.

In this post, we're taking a look at all the new «Earthen Dungeon» armor and weapon models in the War Within, presumably from the eight new expansion dungeons. Note that while the weapons come in many colors, the available armor tints are limited--we expect them to increase as the alpha progresses. The cloth set will also have a robe option in the future.

May 7th is the release date of Patch 10.2.7 Dark Heart! Introducing new Dragonflight content, the patch is likely to be the expansion epilogue, setting up events leading into The War Within. Another major feature for players to look forward to is Mists of Pandaria Timerunning, a brand new way to level characters and earn dozens of new and old cosmetic rewards at the same time! The first The War Within Alpha added only a few toys, mostly tied to professions and Warbands. As it is the first build, it is likely that many more will become available later.

EA has made Star Wars Jedi: Survivor part of the EA Play subscription in some PlayStation regions.

With Alpha upon us, we got an early preview of the new 10v10 Battleground, Deephaul Ravine, coming in the The War Within.

With datamining starting, we have our first look into the Gladiator Mounts of The War Within. The gladiator mounts are an armored version of other gargoyle mounts being added in The War Within and both are similar to Venthyr's covenant mounts, albeit with way more details.

Garena Free Fire Redeem Codes for April 22: Free Fire has rolled out the OB44 update to the game with new features, events, and gaming experiences. The update will give the players a chance to enter the new themed virtual world and play the game with new enemies and challenges. Such an update keeps the thrill and excitement of playing mobile games going. Additionally, with the new updates, the game will gradually announce new events to provide gamers with new gaming gear such as characters, outfits, weapon skin, and more. Helldivers 2 troops are currently hammering away at the latest Major Order to successfully defend at least ten planets from both bugs and bots, but all those last-minute, oil-drenched extractions might not contribute to the liberation effort as the game's systems are now "suffering a minor outage."

With Blizzard officially revealing the start date for Mists of Pandaria Timerunning, they've also given us a good idea of when it will end, as The War Within Alpha client lists the event running from May 16th to August 19th! While this is not yet officially confirmed and nothing on the Alpha is definitively final, the fact that the start dates match makes it likely that the end dates will as well. This gives players three months to enjoy the remixed content and chase its huge collection of rewards.
