Despite being a very good game, Granblue Fantasy: Relink got a bit lost in what was a chaotic release schedule earlier this year — but developer Cygames will be hoping that the action RPG's first big update will get people's attention. Launching on the 26th April (that's tomorrow at the time of writing), patch 1.2.0 adds a bunch of new stuff to the game.

Sony and Shift Up have put out a new Stellar Blade trailer to mark the PS5 exclusive's launch, with the release date set for tomorrow, 26th April 2024. Like a lot of launch trailers, the two-minute slice of footage features a lot of cutscenes and stretches of gameplay we haven't seen before, so you might want to skip it given the full launch is so close. As promised by Capcom earlier in the month, Dragon's Dogma 2 has a new update on PS5. Patch 1.10, which weighs in at a very manageable 563MB, features adjustments to various aspects of the game, like making dragonsplague easier to spot, and improving pawn behaviour.

The PS5 exclusive action game Stellar Blade launches tomorrow, 26th April, and as with most game launches these days, a day one update will arrive alongside it. While the patch will no doubt fix some bugs and get the title in better shape for release day, this one also throws in a big new feature: New Game+ mode.

Capcom has released a patch update for Dragon’s Dogma 2 that tones down the threat from Dragonsplague, the viral sickness that can be caught — and carried from one player’s game to another — by pawns, the game’s AI-controlled party members.

Capcom has released a new update for its open-world fantasy game Dragon’s Dogma 2 that nerfs the dragonsplague, among other things.

A new Dragon's Dogma 2 patch is now live on PC and consoles, introducing some gameplay tweaks and fixes.

Two new items have been added to the Patch 10.2.7 PTR: Bones of Mannoroth and a Cosmetic version of the Tusks of Mannoroth. The Tusks of Mannoroth is one of the rarest transmogs in the game with the drop chance of this item estimated at around 0.1% to 0.3%. It has been made slightly easier with a Siege of Orgrimmar Skip in Patch 10.1.5, but at those drop rates, it'll still take a long time to farm. In the latest Patch 10.2.7 PTR, two new items have been datamined, the first being a cosmetic version of Tusks of Mannoroth.

Although the weekly quest in Valdrakken awards half a Spark of Awakening used to craft max level gear, it appears players can earn another half this week as random loot from dungeons and raids too, allowing them to upgrade a piece of gear in the first week of Dragonflight Season 4! While previous Seasons also allowed players access to a full spark within the first week, the extra half was awarded from a quest, making it pretty hard for players to miss. This time, however, it's not quite so obvious, as one of the splinters isn't attached to a quest at all.

With this week's Patch 10.2.7 Dark Heart PTR build, a new datamined mount has been found, the Savage Ebony Battle Turtle! This turtle is currently tagged as coming from a possible promotion, but it is currently unknown what promotion it'll come from. There are two other Savage Battle Turtle mounts, the Savage Blue Battle Turtle and Savage Green Battle Turtle, and both of these came from the Trading Post.

In preparation for the Cataclysm Classic pre-patch, Blizzard has elaborated on conversions for Justice Points, PvP currency, and more. Players can expect this system to go live after the weekly maintenance next week.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been updated to support a new graphical mode running at 40 frames-per-second while boasting higher resolutions. Baldur's Gate 3 has a great character, but it's surprisingly limited in areas. While you have plenty of hairstyles, tattoos, and makeup shades to choose from, you only have a few body types - and none of them have any kind of chub.

Capcom has shared a list of patch notes for a Dragon's Dogma 2 PS5 update that'll drop at some point later this month, and chief among them is news the game's dragonsplague mechanic will be reduced in frequency and made much more easily noticeable. The patch notes confirm the infection will be spread at a slower rate and your Pawns' eyes will glow a lot more, making the disease a lot easier to deal with.

With Blizzard officially revealing the start date for Mists of Pandaria Timerunning, they've also given us a good idea of when it will end, as The War Within Alpha client lists the event running from May 16th to August 19th! While this is not yet officially confirmed and nothing on the Alpha is definitively final, the fact that the start dates match makes it likely that the end dates will as well. This gives players three months to enjoy the remixed content and chase its huge collection of rewards. While most of the weapons from War Within are themed around the zones and cultures of Khaz Algar, weapon models to match both Night Elf Heritage Armor tints have also been added. As the Night Elf story continues its extended epilogue of renewal, we've seen many Kaldorei rewards in Dragonflight's final patches, from Darnassian Transmog to weapon transmogs around Bel'ameth. Although the Night Elf Heritage Armor questline awarded some traditional glaive appearances, those can only be transmogged by classes that can use one-handed swords and did not match the Heritage Armor set.

Stardew Valley’s 1.6.4 update is now live on PC, bringing with it an impressively long list of bug fixes, quality of life improvements, and fresh content, along with the mysterious removal of two ‘inappropriate names’ from the game’s random name generator.

Dragon's Dogma 2 developer Capcom is still working away at making the title the best it can be, attempting to fix less than satisfactory elements of the game such as its performance and other little annoyances. One of the bigger problems players have run into since launch is Dragonsplague, the disease that your Pawns can contract that will wipe out entire towns if they aren't thrown into the nearest body of water.

Another fun collection update coming in Dragonflight Patch 10.2.7 is the ability for players to customize their own Personal Tabard, following a short questline in Valdrakken! Just like the Guild Tabard, players will be able to customize their personal tabard with its own icon, colors, boarder, and background, sharing all the same options between them, but this also means that players should no longer feel the need to create their own one-person guild just to show off their favorite design! As noted by MrGM, the tabard is unlocked account-wide, though the designs are character specific, allowing each character to customize the tabard as they see fit, using helpful Tabard Designer NPCs located in major faction cities or a new designer in Valdrakken.

Blizzard has updated the Season 4 Patch Notes, noting that the number of Catalyst Charges are resetting with the weekly reset and each character can get 1 Dinar per week.

The Final Fantasy 14 Dawntrail benchmark is here, giving MMO fans a glimpse into what their characters will look like after the graphical update in patch 7.0. While plenty are rather pleased about their Warrior of Lights glow-ups, some have been left looking worse for wear.

It's the last week of Dragonflight Season 3 and players have noticed that the Spiteful Mythic+ affix is doing about 60% less damage! If you compare logs from before Patch 10.2.6 to after Patch 10.2.6, you'll notice that the unmitigated damage of a melee swing from Spiteful is now ~225k (down from ~600k). They also have about 60% less health! This makes the Spiteful affix be basically just a nuisance that healers need to heal through rather than have any chance of killing players.

Capcom has detailed an upcoming patch for Dragon’s Dogmas 2 that makes a number of changes and fixes, but there’s no mention of the performance mode so many players are waiting for.

Insomniac Games has deployed Spider-Man 2 Patch 1.002.003 for PlayStation 5, offering fixes for various encountered issues within the game.

A new update for Dragon's Dogma 2 will effectively nerf the dreaded Dragonsplague disease, which has been a headache for players since launch.

The War Within data includes an interesting addition: a new heirloom ring. The data indicates that it will be a reward from the pre-expansion patch event or a new World Event present in Khaz Algar. It seems like this new heirloom will be similar to Dragonflight when you could obtain Unstable Elemental Confluence during pre-patch and still during the expansion. For all the positive things players have to say about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, one aspect of the game which we've seen nothing but ire directed towards is its confusingly worded retry screen, which players will be hit with in the event of a Game Over. Thankfully, this issue has been quietly addressed in the game's most recent patch, which fixed Platinum Trophy progression, making it at least slightly less confusing now.

Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered Starring Lara Croft (we're still not quite over that title) has just received a meaty new patch, and it's available to download now on PS5 and PS4. The headline addition is a new outfit for Lara, but beyond that is a huge laundry list of fixes and improvements.

GSC Game World has published PS4 patches for the three games that make up the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. Following its surprise release last month, the developer has now updated the three titles with fixes that should address a variety of save, crashing, and bug-related flaws. Baldur's Gate 3 team Larian Studios has confirmed it has two new games in the works as it looks to moves on from the Baldur's Gate IP. Having put together one of the greatest RPGs in a generation last year, the Belgian developer won't be making any new narrative content for the third iteration or creating a Baldur's Gate 4. Instead, it's two brand new games, which CEO Swen Vincke is calling the studio's «best work ever».

Recently Larian Studios made the surprise announcement that Baldur’s Gate 3 would not be getting any major story-driven DLC, as they’re moving on to a pair of original projects, but that doesn’t necessarily mean updates are ending. In fact, in a new blog post Larian has provided some fresh details about what players can expect from Baldur’s Gate 3 Update 7, which is currently in the works.

Stardew Valley 1.6 landed nearly a month ago, but the follow-up patches are continuing to deliver piles of new content and upgrades. 1.6.4 is now here, and developer Eric 'ConcernedApe' Barone's promise of "some new mining-related stuff" might have undersold what we're getting here.
