Devsisters is back with yet another Cookie game. This time, it’s CookieRun: Tower of Adventures. The game is now up for pre-registration on Android and iOS. Previously called ‘Project B,’ it’s expected to drop on June 6th, 2024.

Roguelite deduction adventure game The Detective Reaper Invites will launch for PC via Steam on May 25 for $9.99, publisher PLAYISM and developer Shizu Kano Umi announced. It will support English, Japanese, Traditional and Simplified Chinese language options.

Fingersoft’s LEGO Hill Climb Adventures combines the crazy physics-based fun of the Hill Climb Racing series! It’s got the endless possibilities of LEGO bricks and is finally available for pre-registration.

GSC Game World has published a new trailer for STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Titled 'Not a Paradise', the trailer shows off the game's gorgeous Unreal Engine 5-powered visuals as well as the Ukrainian voiceover, the only one available in the full game alongside English.

Publisher PM Studios and developer Half Human Games will release tower defense dungeon crawler RPG Dwerve for PlayStation 5 on August 1 alongside a physical edition for PlayStation 5 and Switch, the companies announced.

Monomi Park will release Slime Rancher 2 in Early Access for PlayStation 5 on June 11, the developer announced. Pre-orders are available now via PlayStation Store for $29.99 and include four days of advance access to the game on June 7, as well as the exclusive in-game item “Slime Toy.”

Crystal Dynamic’s Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition is finally on PC after 10 years of waiting – but there’s a catch.

That’s exactly what happens at the start of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, though in this rare instance, it’s actually a genuine invitation from Princess Peach to come and hunt down a mystical treasure, and not a dastardly ruse.

Science-fiction visual novel Stories from Sol: The Gun-Dog for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam this winter, publisher Astrolabe Games and developer Space Colony Studios announced. A demo is available now for consoles, joining the existing demo on PC.

Publisher Skybound Games and developer Nice Dream, a Los Angeles-based studio founded by the co-creators of Before Your Eyes, have announced Goodnight Universe, a narrative adventure game in which you play as a six-month-old baby with psychic abilities. Platforms and a release date were not announced. The game will take part in Tribeca Games Festival 2024 from June 12 to 16.

BINGOBELL has announced a major update for open-world action RPG KAKU: Ancient Seal, which is currently in Early Access for PC via Steam. Described as a “major remake,” the update includes new character models, a new prologue, new gameplay, and more. The company also confirmed a full release for this summer, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions at a later date. The previously announced PlayStation 4 version is seemingly no longer planned. A new demo is also available.

The Tribeca Festival returns this June, and it will once again feature official games selections and even a game-focused panel. This year, the selections are all promising indie games, including a successor to 2021’s excellent Before Your Eyes. The show will also feature a talk on the making of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.

One way to help this along is to invest in the game’s skills, which often grant you some entirely new attacks or passive abilities that drastically change up the way you approach combat.

Today the Tribeca Festival, which recognizes achievement across various entertainment mediums, announced their games lineup for 2024.

Corey Konieczka, acclaimed board game designer of strategy games such as Star Wars: Rebellionand Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game, launched his own studio, Unexpected Games, in 2021. After a series of high-concept titles, including puzzle-based The Initiativeand the dynamic 3,000 Scoundrels, he’s back for another stab at a licensed franchise. The Mandalorian: Adventures is a cooperative board game with multiple modes, and itarrives at hobby shops and online in the third quarter. In a recent interview with Polygon, Konieczka revealed some of its secrets — including what promises to be a highly anticipated traitor mode.

I watched the trailer for Tales of the Shire yesterday, and instantly decided it wasn’t going to be my thing. You know what it is? Exactly the kind of gaming adaptations we need.

After bringing games like ScourgeBringer and Strange Horticulture from PC to mobile, Plug in Digital is now dropping Spirit of the Island on Android soon. The adventure title is now available for pre-registration on Google Play for Android users. The game is set to launch on July 16th.

Unlocking and beating the Knave boss fight in can grant you important rewards for some characters, in addition to being one of the best encounters in the game. The Knave is the boss form of Arlecchino, the Fatui Harbinger that was first introduced as an NPC and was then added as a new playable character in 4.6. While Arlecchino is a ruthless and powerful DPS unit, she gets even more powerful in her boss form – this is quite similar to Raiden Shogun as a character versus her boss form in the region of Inazuma.

Debuts don’t get much stronger than Stellar Blade. Korean developer Shift Up – already financially flush from the success of its saucy smartphone gacha NIKKE: Goddess of Victory – has chosen the path of most resistance, turning its hand to AAA territory with this rambunctious action-adventure outing. Despite the inherent risks involved, it’s stuck the landing like an acrobatic anime heroine, backflipping her way between deadly laser beams. That is to say, this is a PS5 console exclusive well worth playing.

Another Crab's Treasure might not look like a soulslike action RPG, but it is one. Take out the dark, oppressive nature of FromSoftware's output and replace it with SpongeBob, and you're more or less there. Purposely juxtaposing the established tropes of the genre, this title offers a fresh, more lighthearted experience without sacrificing the level of challenge you'd expect.

It’s wonderfully ironic that the biggest breath of fresh air the soulslike genre has received in years comes from an adventure that takes place entirely underwater. Where most dodge-rolling action games are drab, bloody, and edgelordian, Another Crab’s Treasure is bursting with bright colors, cartoonish sea creatures, and silly humor. That extreme departure from serious and spooky vibes makes it standout in an increasingly crowded space, even when it follows the formula extremely closely in every other regard. It suffers from overly simplistic combat, a general lack of challenge, and some bugs and camera wonkiness now and again – but with memorable characters, an extremely enjoyable story, and lots of original ideas, Another Crab’s Treasure had me grinning all throughout my 20-hour tour of the ocean floor.
