The Switch may be approaching the end of its life, but Nintendo does still have a couple of notable first-party releases still lined up for the console. Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door’s highly anticipated remake will be releasing later this month, while the following month, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD will be following suit. And though most of the spotlight right now is going to the former, Nintendo has now also released a new trailer for the latter.

SteamWorld Heist, the beloved turn-based tactical shooter, is getting a sequel. Launching on PS5, PS4, and basically everything else on 8th August 2024, SteamWorld Heist 2 is a direct follow-up to the original, swapping out spaceships for a sea-faring adventure but retaining the ricochet-based strategy fans know and love.
You play as Captain Leeway, and must sail the seas, gather a ragtag crew of bots, and solve the mystery of a harmful water crisis. As well as the turn-based, ricochet-heavy tactical gameplay, new for the sequel is a job system that lets you outfit your crew with unique abilities. Between missions, you'll sail your submarine around a world map, engaging in real-time battles against enemy vessels.

I love to hear about others' gaming habits. I want to throw rocks at those who come here and brag about DAY ONE on game pass or already played it on game pass like it's some sort of Gotcha for us lowly PS fans. But Nintendo is the GOAT and the Switch is the best console they have ever made and nobody will convince me otherwise.
Easily my favourite of the Steamworld games. The first one was great on the vita. Would like to see them add a bit more depth to the game but I'm sure it will be much fun regardless.

Lego Reveals Two New Animal Crossing Sets Releasing August 1
