Party action game Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash will launch for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on August 30, publisher Cygames and developer Arc System Works announced.
In Japan, a physical edition will be available for Switch. The standard edition will cost 4,840 yen, which includes a copy of the game, a “Hachauma” sticker, and a voucher for a special item set for the mobile game Umamusume: Pretty Derby. The Deluxe Box will cost 14,800 yen, which includes all of the content from the standard edition, as well as the downloadable content “Team Bundle,” a “Hachauma” block figure set, a “Hachauma” special pouch, and a “Hachauma” art book. A merchandise-only version of the Deluxe Box will also be available via CyStore for 8,800 yen.
Worldwide, Umamusume: Pretty Derby – Party Dash will be available digitally for all platforms. The standard edition will cost 4,840 yen (western pricing to be announced) and include a copy of the game, as well as a voucher for a special item set for the mobile game Umamusume: Pretty Derby in Japan. The Special Edition will cost 6,930 yen (western pricing to be announced), and include all of the content from the standard edition, as well as the downloadable content “Team Bundle.”
The downloadable content “Team Bundle” includes three additional team packs—“DLC Vol. 1: Team ???,” “DLC Vol. 2: Team ???,” and “DLC Vol. 3: Team ???”—as well as a special in-game title. Each team pack includes five characters.

WitchSpring R will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Switch on August 29 worldwide, developer KIWI WALKS announced. It will support Japanese and Korean audio, and English, Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese text. Wishlisting is available now via PlayStation Store.
Gundam Breaker 4 will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on August 29, publisher Bandai Namco and developer Crafts & Meister announced.
Runaway waifu horse racing sensation Umamusume: Pretty Derby will make its PlayStation debut on 30th August, when minigame spin-off Party Dash gallops to PS4 in Japan and around the world. Unlike the main mobile game – which isn’t available in the west yet – this console outing centres on the Slapdash Grand Prix, which features four different sporting events, each with unique gameplay mechanics.
Stellar Blade was the best-selling physical game in the UK last week, with its launch sales on PS5 being enough to see it top sales charts in the region. Sony and Shift Up haven't shared any official sales data just yet, but this marks a good start for the title, which holds the potential to sell well long-term. TopSpin 2K25 was another new entry in the UK sales chart last week, debuting in third place.
All existing and future pre-orders for Gundam Breaker 4 in the Americas will receive a free upgrade to the newly announced Launch Edition, publisher Bandai Namco and developer Crafts & Meister announced.

Shadow of the Ninja Reborn will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on August 29, publisher Natsume Atari and developer Tengo Project announced. It will support English, Japanese, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese language options.
There's still a chance for the Nintendo Switch 2 to launch this year. Exactly two months ago, the Japanese publication Nikkei wrote that March 2025 was the most likely release window for the new console as it allowed Nintendo to produce enough consoles to sell to consumers.
Sony and Shift Up have put out a new Stellar Blade trailer to mark the PS5 exclusive's launch, with the release date set for tomorrow, 26th April 2024. Like a lot of launch trailers, the two-minute slice of footage features a lot of cutscenes and stretches of gameplay we haven't seen before, so you might want to skip it given the full launch is so close. Publisher Entergram and developer Asanoha Factory will release the PlayStation 4 and Switch versions of post-apocalyptic boy meets girl visual novel Memento Memoria: The Abandoned Neverland on August 29 in Japan, the companies announced. The PlayStation 4 version will be available physically for 3,278 yen and digitally for 2,970 yen, while the Switch version will be a digital-only release.
Death end re;Quest Code Z, formerly known as Death end re;Quest Code:Zion, will launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Switch on September 19 in Japan for 8,580 yen, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals. It will also be available in 10,780 yen and 16,280 yen limited editions.
