With a new Alpha build for the War Within, a previous TBD title is now revealed! Defeating Queen Ansurek in the Nerub'ar Palace raid on Mythic difficulty will award you with the Queenslayer title with the achievement Mythic: Queen Ansurek.

Datamined achievements reveal that Dragonriding Races are returning in The War Within, with new achievements for four of the five major expansion world zones! Although not given themed names in the data yet, each of the four zones features six races, with Bronze, Silver, and Gold medals for the Normal, Reverse, and Advanced variants of each race.

One of the most annoying Achievements in the game has been adjusted so it is now soloable. Show Me Your Moves!, the Achievement for the final boss in Mogu'shan Vaults, the Will of the Emperor, required coordination by at least 10 people with no mistakes made to Achieve it. Notoriously difficult to get, it was originally part of the meta for Glory of the Pandaria Raider, but was later removed to make the Glory Achieve more attainable. Now it has been made more attainable itself.Show Me Your Moves! can now be soloed by a character who has a pet (Death Knight, Hunter, Warlock) or an ability (Monk) that can keep one of the two bosses occupied while the character «dances» with the other boss.Show Me Your Moves! Defeat the Will of the Emperor in Mogu'shan Vaults on Normal or Heroic difficulty after all members of the raid execute an Opportunistic Strike on the same construct within a single Unbalanced phase.

Apple is expected to rely on China for a reliable supply chain for the foreseeable future, and though the company has successfully established manufacturing plants outside of the country, it will take years before the technology giant can claim complete independence from the region. The War Within is packed full of new cosmetic Transmogs to earn, so finding some linked to the Professions system is a no-brainer! Players will be able to learn a new Artisan's Ensemble in The War Within — but only after putting in some work, first.

We've datamined Winter Veil 2024 gifts, tucked and wrapped away in the first War Within alpha build!Box of Puntables is the 2024 Winter Veil Gift inside Gently Shaken Gift, which allows you to summon and punt creatures. There are two achievements referencing the 2024 gift:

Each piece of Fallout 4 DLC adds something substantial to the base experience. In the case of the Automatron expansion, an entire new questline pitting you against a robot army led by a figure known as the Mechanist. Starting it isn't as difficult as starting other DLCs like the Nuka-World expansion, but it-s still a bit cryptic. Buying the DLC doesn't automatically make it apparent how to actually start this new adventure, but we'll give you specific directions to find it in the wasteland.

The War Within data includes an interesting addition: a new heirloom ring. The data indicates that it will be a reward from the pre-expansion patch event or a new World Event present in Khaz Algar. It seems like this new heirloom will be similar to Dragonflight when you could obtain Unstable Elemental Confluence during pre-patch and still during the expansion. The ring is created using Lifeless Stone Ring, which casts Infuse Memories. This spell requires three reagents:

With The War Within Druids will be able to use their Flight form with Skyriding, the new name of Dragonriding. Check out our preview of the flight form in action. Remember that you're able to toggle between Skyridding and Steady Flight easily in your mount journal.

Nintendo is the only console maker of the big three without an integrated achievement system for its consoles. Achievements are immensely popular, and many people want them on the Switch, but I think a lack of achievements is an overlooked unique selling point for Nintendo.

With Warbands arriving with The War Within, Blizzard is experimenting with more achievements that possibly require multiple characters. One example is the new Algarian Dungeoneer, which requires you to complete a Mythic Dungeon performing each role. This achievement is supported by three others: Algarian Dungeon Tank, Algarian Dungeon Healer, and Algarian Dungeon Damage Dealer. Each requires you to complete a Mythic Dungeon with each of the game's roles. Completing Algarian Dungeoneer also rewards the Versatile Peddler transmog set, which can be seen below.

Final Fantasy XVI famously didn't meet the sales expectations of Square Enix, though that was partly blamed on slower than anticipated adoption of the PlayStation 5 (the only platform where the game is currently available). However, there is at least one area where the developers reportedly hit their original goals. Speaking to Push Square, Final Fantasy XVI DLC Director Takeo Kujiraoka said:

Pandaria Timerunning gives players a lot of gearing agency, introducing a large variety of gems with stats and special effects that can be socketed into almost any piece of gear, but players may have noticed a lack of accessories, which are only awarded by achievements! Timerunning eschewing the Mists of Pandaria gear we're familiar with in favor of caches containing random assortment of gear and consumables. Awarded from virtually every quest and activity in Mists of Pandaria Timerunning, this creates plenty of loot to choose between, though players may have noticed a distinct lack of accessories, as necks, rings, and trinkets do not appear to be awarded — either from quest caches or dungeon and raid bosses. Players instead fill out their final item slots through achievements, a late game power spike to encourage accomplishments and reward reaching level 70, though not all of them require first reaching level 70 to unlock. Interestingly, the versions we datamined all have secondary effects in addition to the extra sockets, which are not present in-game.

In today's Patch 10.2.7 PTR, we've datamined new toys that will allow players to don the wings of the August Celestial legendary cloaks from Mists of Pandaria, such as Xing-Ho, Breath of Yu'lon for the Jade Serpent. Since cloaks will be replaced by the new Cloak of Infinite Potential for Timerunning and the potential new meta gems (Chi-ji, the Red Crane/Bulwark of the Black Ox), it makes sense that Blizzard would create a way for these highly coveted wing effects to return. Update: You'll need to fully upgrade your Cloak of Infinite Potential via Infinite Power XII to acquire these new toys.

In today's Patch 10.2.7 PTR, we've datamined new spells that indicate the return of raid buff scrolls including Mystic Touch and Chaos Brand for Timerunning Pandaria: Remix. In previous expansions, raid buff scrolls allowed players to partially fill in holes in compositions which was especially helpful in 10-man raiding and dungeon content where the number of players was limited. Perhaps these raid buff scrolls are returning because Timerunning raids might allow for smaller raid groups?

Patch 10.2.7 PTR is now available for download, with datamining soon to follow. Although PTR servers are still offline, we can presume that playtesting will begin soon! We similarly have no information on exactly what will be available in this PTR test, and if it will include the newly revealed WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria event, but we should learn more soon!

The Dragonflight Patch 10.2.7 PTR is up, and although the new Timerunning content is not yet available for testing, there's a new entry on the calendar titled Pandaria: Remix scheduled this Friday through the following Monday! As Blizzard has not given any indication that the actual event would be so limited, it seems that this could be scheduled testing, suggesting we'll get a chance to experience the content ahead of launch.
