Each Tuesday, The Gauntlet in Diablo 4 rolls over to its new week, immortalizing the previous week's scores and refreshing with a new layout, new strategies to find, and new loot to earn. However, with this week's reset time come and gone and no new Gauntlet in sight, Blizzard has stated they're investigating the issue. Diablo Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher stated on X, formerly known as Twitter, that Blizzard has begun looking into why the Gauntlet didn't reset, but did not give an ETA for the issue.

It turns out the Diablo 4 team didn't quite bring everything to bear in Season 4's Public Test Realm, as there are "a few small" extra items to come at launch.

In a recent Reddit thread, Diablo 4 Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher seemed to confirm that the previously datamined Season 4 theme involving the Iron Wolves was accurate. Fletcher stated that «most people have seen some of the things that got out regarding the Season,» implying that information that «got out» was accurate. While this information was previously reported as speculation, it's highly likely that at least a portion of it is correct, based off Fletcher's response.

While trying out the new features and changes coming to Diablo 4 on the Public Test Realm (PTR), some players discovered a major change that will impact Helltide events. One of the Diablo 4 devs has revealed that rewards for Tormented Bosses will be tweaked before the release of Season 4. Diablo 4 is in Season 3, which has introduced players to the new villain Malphas, new quests, enemies, and the long-awaited debut of the Gauntlet and Leaderboards. But Diablo 4 players' attention is currently focused on the upcoming season and all the hype surrounding it.

Blizzard has unlocked the Diablo 4 PTR forums and released a statement regarding known issues and what to expect regarding the upcoming Season 4 PTR. These include several issues regarding Tempering and Masterworking, the two new crafting systems coming in Season 4, and other updated content. Global Diablo Community Development Director Adam Fletcher also stated that players will need to finish the prologue to gain access to the Boost NPC for now; however, the team is working on a solution for this this in the near future.

Blizzard has delayed the fourth season of Diablo 4 by a month, to a new release date of 14th May.

Diablo 4 season 4 has been delayed a whole month to May 14, giving players a few more weeks to experience everything in season 3. 

During its latest Campfire Chat livestream for Diablo 4, Blizzard revealed that its first Public Test Realm for the title would go live on April 2nd for PC players. Servers will be available until April 9th for North America, Europe, Southeast Asia, Korea/Japan, and Australia, allowing players to try out the long-awaited loot overhaul.

For some areas that Diablo 4 warrants praise, the itemization has been anything but exciting. Blizzard Entertainment promised changes to the loot in Season 4, and on March 20th at 11 AM PDT, it’s hosting a new Campfire Chat livestream to detail them.

Recently, it was reported that several bugs have been discovered relating to the Gauntlet and Leaderboards, allowing players to drastically inflate their scores in an unfair and exploitative way. Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 premiered in Season 2 to relatively solid approval from players. Between incredible power spikes from powers such as and leveling quality-of-life powers like, players were sad to see the removal of these abilities when Season of Blood ended. Thankfully, Blizzard has heard the players — and these bloodthirsty powers won't be gone for long. It is likely that Vampiric Powers would be treated similarly — although Blizzard might throw us a curveball!

Blizzard has revealed that Patch 1.3.2 of Diablo 4 will release sometime next week, with the patch notes being revealed this Friday. Diablo 4 once again found itself in the eye of the storm with the launch of Season 3 (Season of Construct), as community complaints took aim at unpopular traps that littered some encounters and ineffective loot. But Blizzard's newest patch seems to have reversed the verdict. 

Season of the Construct is now live inDiablo 4, along with its first hotfix addressing a particularly annoying progression blocker. However, several players aren’t happy with the season in general, whether it’s the lack of much new content, the Vaults and their traps, the underwhelming Seneschal Construct, etc.

Diablo 4 had a rough start with Season 1, an encouraging recovery with Season 2, and now seems to have taken a step back or at least lost some momentum with the launch of Season 3. When it was confirmed that Season of the Construct would be launching on Tuesday, January 23rd, Diablo 4 players were somewhat confused. Not that any of them could decide how to actually pronounce WASD when it came to talking about them on last night's Developer Update stream, though, as there were competing cries of "was-dee", "wased" and "double-you-ey-es-dee" all over the shop as they debated this clearly very "controversial topic" live on air. Diablo 4 fans will want to mark Thursday, January 18 on their calendars, as that's the day that the Developer Update video will be released for the game's upcoming Season 3. Blizzard has updated the splash banner in Diablo 4‘s menus, revealing that the game’s third season is about to start on January 23. The banner, previously displaying “Season of Blood Ends”, now displays “Next Season Begins”, as caught by WoWhead.

Earlier today the Diablo 4 login screen subtly changed to include a new banner stating “Season 3 – Next Season Begins January 23, 2024.” While that release date certainly fits with the quarterly seasons Blizzard wants to stick to with Diablo 4 , we’ve still yet to get many details for a season that’s just around the corner.

Since the release of Patch 1.2.3 and Abattoir of Zir, Blizzard has received abundant feedback on this new endgame feature. Global Community Development Director, Adam Fletcher has stated that Blizzard has discussed this community feedback internally, and is planning on making some changes to Abattoir of Zir with a Hotfix later this week. Diablo 4's next hotfix is due sometime this week, and it'll make changes to the community's most recent bugbears: Living Steel and Helltide chests. 

Blizzard has previously stated that a Hotfix will go out later this week to resolve Season Journey progression locks. However, Diablo 4 Global Community Development Director, Adam Fletcher has stated that this Hotfix will also bring improvements to acquisition during Helltides. Season Journey Progression Bug Fix Blizzard Requests Player Feedback During Season 2, Helltides and have been some of the most criticized content, due to their time-gated nature and their importance in summoning Uber Duriel.

The issue of players not being able to loot Potent Blood has been resolved, however, Diablo 4 Global Community Development Director, Adam Fletcher, has stated that the team will need additional time to resolve the issue of players not being able to progress their Season Journeys. Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher has announced an upcoming hotfix that will solve issues that prevented players from picking up Potent Blood from Blood Fountains and progressing the Season Journey! As of right now, players who try to loot s dropped by Blood Fountains in Blood Harvests will not be able to pick them up because their character will be too far away from the drop location — a pesky bug that is supposed to be fixed with the upcoming patch: Fletcher also commented on the ongoing issues around Burning Cinders drop rates decreasing over time in certain Helltide zones and instances.

Since Season of Blood began, we have known its end date from several in-game reminders and tooltips. However, at BlizzCon, Blizzard shared a screenshot that appeared to be from an internal build, which showed a slightly different Season 2 end date. Best Builds for Malignant Rings Midwinter Blight Event Gameplay While in-game, the end date of Season of Blood has always been displayed as January 23, 2024, during BlizzCon, and in their latest Abattoir of Zir YouTube video, it appears that the developer's internal build shows a Season 2 end date of January 26, 2024. So, why are these two dates different, and why is this significant? This is purely speculative, but it is our hope that the January 23rd date is the true end date of Season 2 and that the January 26th date is the beginning of Season 3. If you attempted to play during the launch of Season 2, then you're well aware that the transition between Season 1 and Season 2 was very rocky, to say the least.

During BlizzCon 2023, Blizzard Entertainment finally revealed its first paid expansion for Diablo 4 – Vessel of Hatred, which ventures to Torjang. As rumored, Mephisto will be the focus this time, and players can expect a new class unlike anything seen in the series. While the expansion is a ways off, we won’t have to wait too long for more information.
