Blizzard has confirmed the Diablo 4 Season 3 release date.
A new message on the game’s login screen spotted by Destructoid reads: “Season 3 – Next Season Begins January 23, 2024.”
Earlier this week, Diablo community development director Adam Fletcher suggested fans won’t have to wait long for news about what’s coming in the game’s third season.
“I know there is a lot of anticipation toward Season 3 news for Diablo IV,” he said. “We’ve been a bit quiet due to people rolling back in from holiday break, but we will have some news to share very soon including times for our Developer Update livestream (LIVE FROM Blizzard Albany!)”

The studio announced Diablo 4’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred, in November.
Revealed during BlizzCon’s opening ceremony via a teaser trailer, the expansion will launch in late 2024 with more details to come next summer.
“Vessel of Hatred continues the grim tale that began in Diablo IV, as you learn the fate of the prime evil Mephisto and his demonic plans for Sanctuary,” Blizzard said.
“To do that, you’ll be visiting a region new to Diablo IV, known by the locals as Nahantu. With this continuation of the campaign’s story comes new ways to play, new evils to vanquish, and a brand-new Class never before seen in the Diablo universe.”

Will this game be the one to remind audiences who the true pioneer of set-piece action and globe-trotting puzzle-solving is? Only time will tell, but we can at least guess based on all the clues we’ve unearthed.
