When Does Season of the Construct Begin? Diablo 4 Season 3 Release Date

Blizzard releases a new update for Diablo 4 to adjust and fix a number of issues currently impacting Season 3 players. Blizzard originally revealed Season of the Construct for Diablo 4 a few weeks back, giving fans a look at what Season 3 is bringing to the table. Taking place in the Kehjistan region, players are facing off against a demon known as Malphas, who has taken over Zoltun Kulle's lab stored with technology and constructs. In addition to delving into new dungeons called Vaults, players would also get access to their own allied construct known as The Seneschal, which could be customized to compliment various playstyles.

Diablo 4 has released a trailer highlighting the rewards available in the Season 3 battle pass. Previously, Diablo 4 players fought the vampiric master Zir of the Ancients, who tried to take over Sanctuary with an army of vampires. In Season 3, Sanctuary faces a new danger, and it's up to Diablo 4 players to fight it once again.

Blizzard has released the patch notes for the huge Diablo 4 update that will kick off Season 3 on January 23. Diablo 4's first two seasons have been a mixed bag. The reaction to Diablo 4 Season 1 was largely negative, with many fans unhappy about the balance changes that Blizzard made to the game. The developers took the fan feedback to heart and quickly reverted the unpopular changes, with Season 2 better-received as a result.

The development team pointed out that the general goal of nerfing these builds is to keep the meta fresh and not push players into playing certain builds over multiple seasons. The new monster family, The Constructs, can be found in several elemental variants within the Vaults. These can drop Shattered Stone, which can be used to craft Governing Stones and Tuning Stones (used to customize your Seneschal Companion) at the Jeweler. After offering the new, required currency Pearls of Warding to enter the Vaults, you can be blessed by Zoltun’s Warding, a buff that grants access to the loot within the Vaults.
