Diablo 4 Campfire Chat Announced for February 29th

For some areas that Diablo 4 warrants praise, the itemization has been anything but exciting. Blizzard Entertainment promised changes to the loot in Season 4, and on March 20th at 11 AM PDT, it’s hosting a new Campfire Chat livestream to detail them.

Blizzard has announced the date for the upcoming Campfire Chat which will go into detail about Season 4, including the itemization overhaul. The livestream is scheduled for March 20, at 11 a.m. PDT. Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher has also clarified that all of the changes shown in the upcoming Campfire Chat will go live on «Day 1» of Season 4.

Blizzard has formally announced the Leaderboard Legends contest, running from March 19 to April 2! While teased during the latest Campfire Chat, until now we didn't have full confirmation of the rules and prizes relating to this contest. It seems this contest is also not just available in the US — which is a departure from previous requirements! Good luck to all participants!

Recently, it was reported that several bugs have been discovered relating to the Gauntlet and Leaderboards, allowing players to drastically inflate their scores in an unfair and exploitative way. With the news of an upcoming PTR for Diablo 4 taking the community by storm, many players have been itching to hear more information, which was promised in the form of a PTR Discussion Livestream. While the date for this Livestream has not yet been formally announced, Blizzard has stated that the official date will be coming within the next two weeks. Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher responded to comments on X (formerly known as Twitter), stating that the PTR Livestream date would be coming «soon.» With the launch of Season 4 roughly a month away, since Season 3 ends on April 16, there's likely to be some tight timing in the Season 4 leadup.

In the wake of the release of Patch 1.3.3a of Diablo 4, which addresses issues with Leaderboard filtering and a bug affecting PlayStation users, some concerns mentioning an issue with the scoring and Leaderboard placement for players on local split-screen co-op have come to light. Players who opt to play together in local co-op are forced to share the same screen, which poses a huge issue when competing against teams in the same Leaderboard bracket who do not face such constraints. Those playing in groups on separate game clients may freely split up and kill more enemies simultaneously than their split-screen counterparts. Global Diablo Community Development Director Adam Fletcher responded to the concern on X (formerly known as Twitter), agreeing with the sentiment and stating that there would be an internal discussion of the topic.

PlayStation users have come across an annoying bug following the release of Patch 1.3.3. Whenever they log into the game, their global game settings are reset — as if this was their first time loading Diablo 4.
