Blizzard has officially confirmed the Diablo 4 Season 3 release date to be January 23, 2024.

The upcoming Season 4 of brings much more content added to the game than simply a new seasonal story and limited time quests. is a massive overhaul to many of the foundational game mechanics for character builds, inventory, and customization of play style for the entire game — both the Seasonal Realm and the Eternal Realm. This update fundamentally changes and improves many of the mechanics that have been giving players some frustration since 's release last year and will include new ways for everyone to play the game.

Our next Developer Update begins on May 2 at 11 a.m. PDT and will give you a look into what the team has in store for the launch of Season 4 along with system features, balance updates, and learnings from our recent Public Test Realm period.

As this week’s approaching Campfire Chat promises a discussion regarding the resurgence Vampiric Powers, players are looking forward to reuniting with their favorite seasonal features from Season of Blood. With so many powers to choose from, though, which will make the cut? Blizzard Entertainment has announced that the next Campfire Chat stream for Diablo 4 will air on February 29th at 11 AM PST. It provides the first look at Trials and The Gauntlet, which were delayed past the start of Season of the Construct.

Vampiric Powers in Diablo 4 premiered in Season 2 to relatively solid approval from players. Between incredible power spikes from powers such as and leveling quality-of-life powers like, players were sad to see the removal of these abilities when Season of Blood ended. Thankfully, Blizzard has heard the players — and these bloodthirsty powers won't be gone for long. While we don't know which powers have made the cut, or what form they'll return in, we can at least make a few guesses. Malignant abilities from Season 1 of Diablo 4 made their return in the form of Unique Rings such as, allowing fan-favorites to become permanent core additions to the game. It is likely that Vampiric Powers would be treated similarly — although Blizzard might throw us a curveball!

Blizzard has acknowledged the radio silence regarding Diablo 4 Season 3 and says more information is on the way "very soon."

Blizzard really, really wants you to know Diablo 4 isn't going to add any pay-to-win elements. In fact, the ARPG's lead developers are so keen on making that point clear that they repeated it no less than six times during a recent livestream.

Diablo 4 has me unbelievably hyped right now thanks to its upcoming second season, the Season of Blood. Alongside the vampire-themed content, Blizzard is also introducing its major 1.2.0 update with a variety of class changes and new in-game features. While the patch and its accompanying season are thrilling on their own, the developer has looked even further ahead and revealed a couple of big 1.2.1 additions, like a customizable training dummy and a very highly requested respec button.

Associate Game Director Joseph Piepiora has clarified on Twitter that, starting with Season 2, the new Item Power cap in Diablo 4 will be 925. Based on several additional Twitter replies, we can make a good guess as to what the intentions behind this change could be. Enchantment costs will be reduced, which will make rolling for the perfect stats less expensive in Season 2! Blizzard Entertainment has said that it will soon be making it easier for Diablo 4 players to find rare and powerful items.

In an extended livestream today, Blizzard revealed a whole lot more details for Season 2 of Diablo 4, called Season of the Blood, and major reworks to progression and the endgame player experience.

As part of Diablo 4 Season 2, the "uber" part of Uber Uniques is easing off a bit, as Blizzard says it wants to make sure that the items, while still exceedingly rare, will now actually be within the realm of collectability for normal players.

If you've got a hankering for more Diablo 4 but can't be asked with another blasted level grind, Blizzard's got good news for you. As of Season 2, your grind to level 100 should be about "40% faster" compared to Season 1 thanks to a raft of buffs.

Blizzard Entertainment’s next Campfire Chat for Diablo 4 will premiere on Twitch and YouTube on July 28th at 11 AM PDT. As we all know, Diablo 4 is in desperate need of the KonMari Method. There's just too much stuff clogging up your inventory and littering the floors, and it's had players crying out for a solution since the game released.

Diablo 4 has recently released its Patch 1.1.0 update alongside Season of the Malignant, and some fans have voiced their disappointment and upset over some of the changes made. This includes nerfs to classes and changes to certain stats and aspects of the game.
