Diablo 4 ’s first major expansion has been announced. Vessel of Hatred was announced at BlizzCon today with a brief teaser video and the title, with more info to come tomorrow when the Diablo 4 team presents. 

During the BlizzCon 2023 opening ceremony, Blizzard announced Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred, the first expansion for the hack-and-slash action RPG.

Patch 1.2.1 is out as of October 31st, and with it came some pleasant updates and a not so pleasant bug. As of now, Necromancers are unable to generate corpses with the dummies in order to test out their builds.

Blizzard has dashed the Diablo 4's community's latest theory - even though it's one of their more sensible ones to boot.

It turns out, no matter how much it may feel against us, RNG truly is just RNG — at least when it comes to loot drops. Recently, players took to Reddit to discuss the possibility of loot drops being influenced by outside sources and not solely by RNG. In one thread which picked up quite a bit of steam, players shared anecdotal evidence and experiences of entering a World Tier for the first time and immediately receiving high item power drops, then not seeing more for dozens of levels — and some speculation focused on the contents of your inventory and stash influencing these drops. You may have noticed in the previous patch notes that the change to and were originally slotted to have their tooltips changed to additive instead of multiplicative. However, per Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher, a last minute change was added to the patch notes.

Diablo 4 trading is back. We have recently reported that the internal developer build for Patch 1.1.2 has been discovered. Blizzard has now confirmed that Patch 1.1.2 is on the horizon and will be «coming up very soon»!
