Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher has taken to Reddit to dispel the confusion about the upcoming content and game changes for Diablo 4. On October 4th and 10th, the Developer Livestreams will be covering many such exciting changes that are going to be coming to the game on the launch of Season 2. However, according to Adam Fletcher, that's not all we should be expecting.

Now, to add icing onto the delicious release cake, Diablo Global Community Development Director Adam Fletcher has confirmed that Diablo 4 will also be Steam Deck Verified on release! Mobile gamers will be elated at this news, as it means that Diablo 4 will be certified to work properly on the very popular Steam Deck, Steam's handheld platform.

Diablo 4 will be heading to Steam with the upcoming Season 2, Season of Blood. The second season releases on October 17 on all platforms, and will be the first time D4 is playable on Steam. The Store Page for the game on Steam has already been updated to indicate its verification.
Already hailed as the biggest Diablo 4 patch notes since launch, Blizzard’s Diablo 4 Season 2 update just got even larger. Following the D4 developer update on Tuesday October 10, where the team revealed its extensive patch 1.2.0 notes ahead of the start of the next season, additional gear has now been added.
