It's been more than six years since Kingdom Come: Deliverance first released and, since that time, the game's developer, Warhorse Studios, has been quiet about what its next project might be. Considering the first game ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, though, many of us assumed that we'd eventually be getting Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

While talking about the game in a pre-reveal press stream, Warhorse said that the sequel is what it wanted to make six years ago, but couldn't due to a lack of resources and experience.
As you can imagine, that means that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a lot bigger than the first game. Henry is also said to be much more customisable this time around, with players being able to influence whether he acts as a heroic knight, a thief, a charming scoundrel, and more. A reworked crime system also means that NPCs will respond to what you do, including if you choose to walk around town with no clothes. Oh, and you've got crossbows and early firearms to work with this time around too.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 wasn't given a set release date or window during the reveal, but it has been confirmed to be launching at some point in 2024 for current-gen consoles and PC, so we shouldn't have to wait too long to get our hands on it.
