Smash Bros Buttstomped, A Hi-Fi[ve] Worthy Yakuza Humble Bundle, and $297 Off the Fancy Starfield Edition!

It's a sad day today, given the closure of Tango Gameworks, producers of the perfectly 9/10 excellent Hi-Fi Rush. That being said, an opportunity exists for PC players to score it in a bundle (which most notably includes Yakuza: Like A Dragon) for posterity and a pittance. Of all the recent dev shedding that's been going on, this one feels especially senseless. Do not sleep on this surprise gem of a game, which is also going for 30% off on PS Store.

Gold Versions, Game of the Year Editions, Double Packs and Deluxes Get Heavily Reduced, and More!

As the winds of autumn gather to whip us, like some sort of FromSoftware boss inspired by Devo, games shall emerge as your perfect reason to stay indoors. Admittedly, we're in the dead period of the year, so that means looking back to recent releases and classics of yore. If you do want to keep things seasonal, it's the perfect time to play the discounted Resi 4 Remake and Far Cry 5 below—both of which take place in autumn. Otherwise, just binge a ton of Yakuza games (purely because they're cheap and awesome).

Terminator: Survivors is a UE5 Game, Will be Playable Offline, Only Feature a Single T-800

Earlier this year, Nacon generated some excitement with the latest teaser trailer for Terminator: Survivors, a new open-world adventure/survival game that takes place after Judgment Day in a post-apocalyptic setting. The game is apparently launching this year, but there are still plenty of outstanding questions, and thankfully, Nacon has stepped up to answer some of them.

A Free Modern Tomb Raider and LEGO Star War, Cheap Controllers, Historically Low Hades, and More!

Thank your own personal deity—possibly C-3PO as worshipped by Ewoks—it's Friday! Obviously, the two biggest headliners are those freebies—LEGO Star Wars III and Tomb Raider [2013]. Whip up a free (and easily ditched) Amazon Prime Gaming subscription to have and to hold them forever in your GOG library. I recently replayed Lara's reboot as part of the ongoing gaming education of my eldest. Still stands up as a well-Crofted action adventure.

A Sub Ten Buck Steal for an All-Time RPG Trilogy, Robo Cops a Price Drop, Stellar Blade Deals, and More!

Let's remove the mystery from the headline. Three Mass Effect games are going for next to nothing right now on PC, and you need to jettison your modern perspective misgivings and take a chance on them. Forget the hot mess that was Mass Effect Andromeda. Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2—and, to a lesser extent, Mass Effect 3—were genre-defining RPGs. The remaster process has made 'em much easier on the optical implants. The writing, world-building, and companion NPC bonds you'll forge, meanwhile, all remain timeless.

166 Bucks Off a PS VR2 Bundle, Super Mario Savings on Switch, Manor Lords Dropped, and More!

It's time to press start on another week of mad savings. I'm mighty keen on a few double packs (like Quake 1 + 2, Deathloop + Ghostwire, etc). Not to mention "whole shebang" collections going for a fraction of the price of a single game (see: Yakuza Remastered Collection, Trine Ultimate Collection, etc).

7 Days in Hell did Challengers before Challengers — threesomes and all

It sometimes seems surprising that tennis doesn’t inspire more movies. Its one-on-one gladiatorial clashes are inherently dramatic and psychological, while the devious scoring system means no match is ever lost until it’s lost. Nail-biting climaxes and last-minute turnarounds are baked into the design. On the other hand, the fast-moving, seesawing action is technically difficult to frame in a way that’s both exciting and legible — and that same scoring system might drastically confuse anyone who doesn’t follow the sport.

A Seriously Reduced Modern Resi, Fallout 4 GOTY, a JRPG Mass Sale Event, plus NieR and Stellar Blade Discounts!

Before we dash-attack into my deals, here's a Vault-Tec sponsored PSA. The free Fallout 4 next-gen updates are rolling out now. Along with a visual spitshine (4K/60 fps for PS5 and XSX consoles) and support for ultra-wide PC screens, they add new weapons, apparel, and workshops to the Commonwealth. Wish I could say there were mad discounts still going for every store version of this game, but it seems to only be a PC affair.
