Baldur's Gate 3 has a great character, but it's surprisingly limited in areas. While you have plenty of hairstyles, tattoos, and makeup shades to choose from, you only have a few body types - and none of them have any kind of chub.
But now, PC players can download a mod that fixes that. Plus-Size Tav by Nexus Mods user MangoPunch gives you a new body type in the character creator. Now, any humanoid race - humans, elves, half-elves, drow, tieflings, and githyanki - can be plus-sized, mixing it up from their usual choices of either being petite or muscular.
The mod even adds plus-sized compatibility to some of the clothing and armour in the game, with more planned in future updates. So, while you might run into some issues the further you get in the game, there should be enough to get your playthrough started.
Right now, the mod only affects body type 1, as you can see in the image above. MangoPunch plans to create a model for body type 2, so we can expect that in a future update as well.
Alas, Baldur's Gate 3's body types are even more restrictive if you play as a non-humanoid, like dwarves, gnomes, halflings, half-orcs, and dragonborn.
At the very least, the next Baldur's Gate 3 patch is poised to add mod support, which should hopefully make the lives of creators like MangoPunch much easier. Larian has even mentioned looking into cross-platform mod support, so mods won't get in the way of cross-plat multiplayer when it's finally added to the game. It doesn't seem that this will be ready for Patch 7 though - and if it is, Larian is keeping very quiet about it.
Patch 7 will likely drop very soon, with the devs already dropping a tease for its new features. This includes new evil ending cinematics, and based on what we've seen so far, they're going to be nasty.

Sony recently added a free trial for one of the most controversial games of 2024 to PlayStation Plus Premium, meaning members of the service can give Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League a shot without having to spend a single extra penny. Though some may have preferred a more well-received game to be added instead, trials like these allow PlayStation Plus players to test out divisive games and make judgments for themselves on titles they may not have touched otherwise.

In a post-release patch, Larian Studios added Honour Mode to . Honour Mode makes enemies and bosses harder, while introducing harsher rules that work against the player, similar to Tactician Mode. The big difference in what makes Honour Mode such a difficult endeavor is that it only gives players a single save. If a party is wiped out, that's it, the campaign is officially over and a player will have to start again from the Nautiloid Ship in a new save.
Stellar Blade’s boss battles are among its most memorable moments, so it’s perhaps no surprise to learn that developer Shift Up is plotting a kind of boss rush mode for its PS5 debut. Bethesda Game Studios has been promising new content and features for Starfield for a while now, and though updates for the space-faring RPG haven’t been as significant as many would have hoped, more new details have emerged on when to expect some of that. Shattered Space, for instance – which will be Starfield’s first paid expansion – has been given a narrower launch window.
A Baldur’s Gate 3 player online is taking no chances in Honour Mode, summoning an army of 88 monsters to help them complete the game. Honour Mode in Baldur’s Gate 3 is considered to be the game’s greatest challenge, but this team composition would certainly make things a little easier to handle.
A new mod for Starfield is bridging the gap between Bethesda's space-faring RPG and the Star Wars universe by bringing a classic spaceship from the movies to the game. While there are a lot of options for players wanting to build their own ship in Starfield, this mod adds 15 new custom-made parts, which can either be assembled to recreate the classic ship or be incorporated into other ship designs.
