Getting tired of your Pawns stating the obvious, pointing out the same ladder repeatedly, and commenting on how you spend your gold? There's a handy Dragon's Dogma 2 mod that makes them shut up.

Dragon's Dogma 2's pawns are so eager to help the Arisen that they can even catch you if you fall from the sky. Would love to know what their spines are made of.
Just like the first game, one of the most interesting parts of Dragon's Dogma 2 is its Pawn system, which lets you create your own companion (as well as hire pawns that your friends and other online players have made) to dutifully help you as you adventure across the lands. Pawns are helpful in many different ways, from pointing out areas of interest to letting you chuck them across gaps to reach items.
Not only do Pawns put up with being used as human darts, but they're also happy to return the favour by catching you if you fall off a platform. If you're playing Dragon's Dogma 2, you've likely seen this happen if you've jumped off a ladder or fallen off a surface while trying to climb up a mountainside.
As it turns out, though, Pawns won't just save you from falling if you take a little tumble off a cliff - they'll actually manage to catch you no matter how high up in the air you are. This was perfectly demonstrated by Twitter user Yautrek, who shared a clip of their Arisen riding on the back of a griffin and getting carried up incredibly high into the air.
Although griffins usually take you far away from your Pawns and act as a great way to see the world from above, Yautrek's encounter ended a little too early for that to happen. As shown in the clip above, a bomb detonating sends the Arisen flying and causes them to fall towards the ground with aught but death in sight.
Funnily enough, it seems that the Pawn who caught Yautrek is also the one that caused them to fall, as only Archers have the ability to plant and detonate bombs. Oops?
Most players would probably be preparing their Wakestone by now, but Yautrek got incredibly lucky as one of their Pawns actually managed to catch them before they hit the ground. This proves that, no matter how far you fall in Dragon's Dogma 2, a Pawn will be able to catch you and stop you from dying if they're in the right place at the right time.

is an ambitious console and PC strategy game, especially coming from the solo developer known as Slavic Magic, and there's one element of its approach that sets it widely apart from the competition. The title joins 2024 games like,, and more in bringing the medieval period to life, proving that this particular era of the past hasn't lost any of its staying power in the collective imagination. That familiarity can make experiences without a unique angle get lost among the shuffle, but seems more than ready to rise to the challenge.
There are many mods for Dragon's Dogma 2. Some are cosmetic, and do things such as adding more stylish touches to your Arisen's tattoos. Others are actually pretty useful, such as the ones that add an in-game one stop shop for items you could alternatively buy as paid DLC or deal with the dreaded Dragonsplague.
Windows handhelds like the ROG Ally have specs that put the Steam Deck to shame, but are let down by Windows being terrible as a handheld operating system. So, what if you could have the best of both worlds?
Star Wars actor Hayden Christensen has opened up about one thing about his character’s appearance that George Lucas disapproved of and had to convince him to put that aspect in his story.
Dragon's Dogma 2 players are pretty polarized by the RPG's romance system, and as a result, they just want to get with the Pawns.
Remember when Redbox or Blockbuster would let you rent some of the newest titles for just a few bucks a day? A new trend has emerged to fill the void left behind by the loss of rental services. Many public libraries have started to collect video games, and it doesn't cost a cent to borrow them.
A player clips a bizarre Skyrim moment that highlights Adrianne Avenicci plummeting to her death. Some persistent Skyrim bugs continue to result in strange moments many years after the game's release, but this one may be among the most bizarre.
Getting to go on a date at the Gold Saucer is an exciting moment in , but this iconic event doesn't get to properly play out on the first trip to the amusement park. From a narrative standpoint, it's probably a good thing that Cloud's break time is interrupted, as the sequence running from Costa del Sol to the Gold Saucer has quite a lot of downtime for an intense plot. All the same, it's hard not to spend a lot of time wondering when there is another chance to go on a Gold Saucer date.
In a gaming scene filled with hand-holding and guiding the player through every step of their journey, Capcom's does the opposite, asking the player to discover the game's many mechanics. Like other good open-world RPGs, there are many little details that make the world feel real and lived in, and these can be easily missed. Not only that, but Capcom's approach to combat has made it layered, giving the Arisen several approaches to their encounters.
Much to the detriment of Super Earth's forces, Helldivers 2 players are now contending with deadly Automaton Gunships.
Like other fantasy open-world RPGs, allows the player to have an abode of their own. Although there are multiple choices in Capcom's newest title for a player's home, spread across multiple locations, this home in the Common Quarter of Venworth, Vermund's capital, is technically free, at least for a period of time. Despite not costing in-game gold, it will cost time to do, being involved in a side quest associated with an NPC.
