Diablo 4 Experience and Gold Increase Event Starts on March 26th

When Diablo 3 got its pre-Reaper of Souls expansion patch dubbed 'loot 2.0' in 2014, it was credited with turning Blizzard’s action role-playing game around. Critics and players called loot 2.0 a big improvement on Diablo 3, with changes that sparked renewed interest from a community that had dropped off following the base game’s 2012 release. Now, 10 years later, Blizzard is aiming to repeat the trick with Diablo 4 Season 4.

Blizzard games are set to return to China in a new licensing agreement, well over a year after games like Diablo 4 and World of Warcraft exited the country after Blizzard and NetEase failed to reach an agreement.

Diablo 3 may no longer be the newest ARPG on the block, but that doesn't mean that its fans and developers are done thinking about it. One of its former developers has been discussing the key design decisions that went into it, in fact, and comparing it to 11th Hour Games' Last Epoch, which launched to immediate success back in February, with players quick to point out the similarities between it and the Diablo series.

However, the recent patch notes have included even more information, revealing a feature that is quite familiar to some players! Accursed Rituals bear quite a resemblance to the three Blood Well event during Season 2's Blood Harvest! Expect waves upon waves of enemies, lots of loot, and this time — a quite fearsome boss at the end. Diablo 4's Season 4's full PTR patch notes are here, and among so, so many changes, updates, new systems, and adjustments, one particular change is designed to improve controller play parity with mouse and keyboard.

With Season 4 on the horizon we finally have been granted a sneak peek into what's in store for us. Alongside a significant amount of other changes, new gear Affixes have been added alongside some more general, quality of life improvements to Affixes overall! Two very powerful additions coming are Resource per Second and Life Per Hit — will all of the sources of x% Increased Resource Generation and x% Increased Healing that already exist in game, these Affixes are surely going to be a powerful addition to many builds. The forces of Hell amass once again to bring the end of days in Diablo 3 Season 31. The season begins on April 12th 5 PM PDT and features an old theme from years past, which many fondly remember. The Season Theme for Season 31 is the Forbidden Archives, and this really seems to be the season of Zoltun Kulle for both Diablo 3 and 4! Some of you may remember this theme well, but for those of you who don't or are new, you're going to be in for a treat. While the theme may sound simple at a glance, it allows for an amazing amount of character build diversity and some really interesting combinations that are otherwise impossible. This is very much the season to get creative and wacky with your characters, so go wild!

NVIDIA revealed today that the sci-fi first-person shooter/tower defense/base building hybrid game Outpost: Infinity Siege will support DLSS 3 (Frame Generation + Super Resolution) and Reflex at launch.

Blizzard has stated that PTR Patch Notes for Diablo 4 will likely be revealed this Thursday, March 28 — but these patch notes will not include the full list of Season 4 changes.
