Wowhead community member krismate has found changes to The Lost City of Ureh area during their visit on the Diablo 4 PTR, which was previously blocked off. We have made our way to the Lost CIty of Ureh and compared the changes from the live servers to the PTR, including everything that got added to the area. Blizzard has released a new lore video highlighting the origin stories of the three Prime Evils — Diablo, Lord of Terror, Baal, Lord of Destruction, and Mephisto, Lord of Hatred — in what appears to be a new YouTube series, Horadric History. The video outlines the history behind the birth of the seven great evils, how the Prime Evils came into existence, and the impact that each one has had on Sanctuary — and leaves viewers with a stark reminder that Mephisto is still out there. It's easy to forget that Diablo 4 has only been on the market for ten months. The game's had so many ups and downs that it feels like it's been hanging around for years, with the general consensus being that Blizzard has struggled to maintain the title's momentum through its seasonal updates. But with Season 4 — which is due to drop in May — the developer may finally be on the cusp of convincing hardcore players that the action RPG is in a good place.

BattleJuice Alchemist, an action RPG that combines the isometric combat of games like Diablo and Hades with the intense one-on-one battles popularized by JRPGs, puts an intense spin on the genre formula: instead of relying on weapons gathered from the world or looted from your foes, you'll have to make all your combat tools yourself.

Palworld update 0.2.0.6 is now available for download. This patch introduces the game's very first raid boss, Bellanoir, in addition to expanding Palworld with dozens of other features and improvements, including some much-needed anti-cheat measures.

Market research and data tracking firm NewZoo has released their 2023 PC and Console Gaming Report, and it provides an interesting snapshot of an industry in a bit of a transitional mode. The gaming industry saw out-of-control growth during the pandemic, which fizzled a bit in 2022, but 2023 saw a return to modest growth with the PC/console market reaching $93.5 billion, up 2.3 percent year-on-year. This growth was largely driven by the PC market, which was up 3.9 percent year-on-year, while the console market was up 1.7 percent YoY. The PC market accounted for 43 percent of industry revenue, while consoles were 57 percent.

Diablo 4's new public test realm has come just at the right time, improving the mood of the RPG's community greatly as Season 4 appears on the horizon.

For players who have entered the Public Test Realm for Patch 1.4.0, an issue has been discovered that causes the Codex of Power to be reset, removing any progress made by players. After boosting a character to level 100 via the NPC in Kyovashad, the Codex of Power upgrade process will reset to zero. This means that if you have upgraded various Aspects in the Codex and made another character, boosting that character to level 100 will then wipe the Codex to its original state for all characters. Before boosting a character to level 100 vs after boosting a character to level 100. The only way to work around this currently if you wish to have numerous characters is to make all of your alt characters and boost them to level 100 before you start to upgrade Aspects in the Codex of Power. This will prevent a new character from accidentally removing all your progress as you battle your way through the Diablo 4 PTR.

Blizzard has released new Class Armor Packs for each class in Diablo 4, containing heavily discounted armor sets previously released in Tejal's Shop. Each of these sets, previously released and costing at minimum 1,000 Platinum each, is now available in the bundle with one other set per class for a total amount of 1,000 Platinum — bringing down the overall cost of these sets substantially! Take a look at some of the models below — note that these sets were primarily released in the pre-season launch stage of Diablo 4, so they are some of the oldest released shop sets in the game.

Blizzard is making numerous changes to Diablo 4 in Season 4, with a Public Test Realm going live on April 2nd for PC players to try them out. The crafting and itemization changes have already been detailed, but according to the PTR notes, changes to Helltides are also coming.
