What is the Lost City of Ureh?
The Lost City of Ureh is tied to lore that many Diablo players may not know. Originally intended to be part of Diablo 3, it was teased in the cinematic reveal trailer for the game, but later cut — so players have never seen it in person.

Before its fall, the city of Ureh was one of the greatest cities in Sanctuary. Led by Juris Khan, its citizens prospered — but this prosperity drew the gaze of the Lord of Terror himself. Turning Juris Khan and his daughter into living vessels, Diablo turned the citizens of Ureh into undead abominations, attempting to use Ureh as a gateway for the Prime Evils to invade Sanctuary by transporting it to the Burning Hells.
One of Juris Khan's Archmages realized the danger and attempted to reverse the spell, transporting Ureh to the High Heavens instead, but only managed to send the city into limbo — present in neither Heaven nor Hell, the city was lost for thousands of years. Ultimately, a mercenary named Kentril Dumon was able to return the city to the mortal realm, however, its return to Sanctuary ultimately led to the downfall of Ureh and its citizens, leaving the city in ruins.
The Lost City of Ureh New Areas
A potential vendor hut can now be found to the right of the entrance to the area. This looks like the perfect spot for an NPC to set up camp, with its own separate outcropping of space — indicating that someone (with applicable personal belongings, given the size of the space) might be moving in soon.
Heading further inside on the now accessible path, your character passes through a large gate into an area with some ruins leading into the abyss. Looking at the full map, there's clearly space to allow for a location to be added here — or for a possible doorway down that sheer cliffside to be placed?
Map Comparison (Live vs PTR)
Slight changes have been made to the area of the map for the Lost CIty of Ureh, including a new and accessible path in the center of the map. The small offshoot to the top right of the area is now far more defined — instead of a small blob off the main terrace, it's a significantly sharper angle with straighter lines delineating the area where the vendor stall now exists.
