There's only good news in the world of Helldivers 2 today following the successful completion of Operation Swift Disassembly, the recent Major Order to crush the Automatons in Arrowhead's popular multiplayer game. Not only is the galaxy free once more, but all Helldivers have received a special gift in the form of a minute-long break inclusive of the time it takes to read the announcement. Congratulations, folks; you earned it.

And what's surprising is that people well-versed with the internet are getting scammed. The FedEx courier scam starts with an IVR phone call from an unknown number that claims, “Your Fedex Package Has Been Blocked…Press 1”. Anyone who gets lured by the FedEx package and continues with the phone call gets scammed by paying lakhs in the form of “fines”. According to a report by The Indian Express, a 70-year-old journalist in Bengaluru recently fell for this scam and lost ₹1.20 crore. 

If you happen to get a WhatsApp call from any unknown number and someone claims to be a government official from the Department of Telecommunications then take note that it could be a scammer trying to steal your personal data. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications, has issued an advisory to Indians citizens that calls are being received by the citizens wherein callers, in the name of DoT, are threatening that all of their mobile numbers would be disconnected or their mobile numbers are being misused in some illegal activities.

If I ever needed more evidence that Build Mode and Live Mode players of The Sims are built different, this is it. Sims player Kewlcy has exemplified a Live Mode sicko by building not just one underground kidnapping bunker but an entire hidden city «for capturing and storing men.»

Last year's RoboCop: Rogue City didn't appear on many Game of the Year lists, but plenty of people think it should have. The deliberately pulpy shooter, which manages to capture the tone of the original RoboCop movies rather well, has quickly become known as an underrated excursion — and it sounds like a big update it planned for the relatively near future.

That happened to me today while looking at upcoming city builders. There's just something about an isometric city builder with retro pixel art that immediately appeals to me, so Metropolis 1998 grabbed my attention with just a few screenshots.
