Moon Studios may be known for its hit Metroidvania games, but its new action RPG, No Rest for the Wicked, is now available in early access, and former Blizzard president Mike Ybarra believes its "bold direction" is what the genre needs to "stay relevant."

Blizzard has released a major update for Heroes of the Storm on the Public Test Realm (PTR), featuring substantial hero adjustments, new additions to Same Hero Mode, balance updates, bug fixes, and more. Diablo 3 may no longer be the newest ARPG on the block, but that doesn't mean that its fans and developers are done thinking about it. Blizzard has released a new lore video highlighting the origin stories of the three Prime Evils — Diablo, Lord of Terror, Baal, Lord of Destruction, and Mephisto, Lord of Hatred — in what appears to be a new YouTube series, Horadric History. The video outlines the history behind the birth of the seven great evils, how the Prime Evils came into existence, and the impact that each one has had on Sanctuary — and leaves viewers with a stark reminder that Mephisto is still out there. It's easy to forget that Diablo 4 has only been on the market for ten months. The game's had so many ups and downs that it feels like it's been hanging around for years, with the general consensus being that Blizzard has struggled to maintain the title's momentum through its seasonal updates. But with Season 4 — which is due to drop in May — the developer may finally be on the cusp of convincing hardcore players that the action RPG is in a good place.
