The highly anticipated game Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second installment in the ambitious Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy, received widespread critical acclaim when it launched in late February.

Sprawling, densely detailed open areas and cityscapes, redesigned character models, reimagined threats and new enemies, side-quests and mini-games galore. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth packs a lot in. 

As we edge ever closer to the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, fans are getting increasingly eager about the title and what it’s likely to offer them. For those who wanted to get a “sneak peek” of everything, all they had to do was download the PS5 demo for the title. This particular demo is special because it not only gives fans a taste of what’s to come, but Square Enix will “expand upon it” via an update. That’s right, this demo will grow, and you can transfer your entire process to the main game should you get it.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will feature an ambiguous ending that will keep players wondering about the third and final part of the trilogy, according to the game's producer.

Since this game installment was so massive, the developers could only deliver the game in parts. We’re going to receive Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, the second installment to this trilogy remake, in 2024. 

If PlayStation UK's provocative advertisement for Marvel's Spider-Man 2's Collector's Edition wasn't enough to entice, maybe Square Enix has the goods to loosen those purse strings. One of the things that makes Final Fantasy VII Rebirth interesting in the eyes of fans is that the game is building off of what the original “Remake” title did in 2020. We mean they’re not simply remaking the game graphically from top to bottom. Instead, they’re expanding everything that happens in the story and fleshing out moments and characters so that everything feels more robust and meaningful. The trick is that they’re doing this while also changing key moments in the key and rewriting the fates of known characters and their deaths. That “altering” will continue in the sequel.

Soon after showing off a new trailer announcing the release date for Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, Square Enix has revealed more details about the upcoming game in a series of posts made on social media platform X, including the fact that the game will feature 100 hours of gameplay.

In the trailer we caught glimpses of new party members, sprawling open areas to explore and the reimagining of some iconic moments from the original game.

In the vast world of Square Enix gacha games, Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis is undoubtedly one of them. The Final Fantasy VII mobile spinoff has attracted ample curiosity since its original announcement, given that it aims to functionally remake the original game alongside the “compilation of” titles. But with Ever Crisis’ latest trailer, Square Enix reminds us that the upcoming RPG will add some new lore too.
