One of the most bizarre yet compelling puzzle titles in recent years is making its way over to Xbox consoles. THA Limited and Enhance’s Humanity, released last year for PlayStation and PC via Steam, and the acclaimed puzzle action title will soon be opening the gates for a new audience.

Bethesda Game Studios has been promising new content and features for Starfield for a while now, and though updates for the space-faring RPG haven’t been as significant as many would have hoped, more new details have emerged on when to expect some of that. Shattered Space, for instance – which will be Starfield’s first paid expansion – has been given a narrower launch window.

It’s been six years since Fallout 76 came out, and close to a decade since Fallout 4. Even if fervour surrounding the franchise wasn’t as high as it is right now thanks to the wild success of Amazon Prime’s Fallout series, demand for a new game would still be ravenous, but in the aftermath of the show, that feels doubly true. And even though it’s clearly going to be a while (to say the least) before that long-awaited new game releases, it seems like Bethesda might actually have two unannounced Fallout projects in the works in some capacity.

Xbox fans are all set to get a new game, Humanity, which was a day one PS Plus game. That's not all, as Humanity will also be available as a day one Xbox Game Pass game, which means existing subscribers will be able to try it out for absolutely free.

Embark Studios' free-to-play shooter The Finals is gearing up for the launch of a long-awaited game mode on May 2. The studio has been teasing this content addition for The Finals since the absence of last week's update, stating that it was working on delivering «Something very cool.»

Xbox Game Pass title Dungeons of Hinterberg has been treated to a release date, July 18. This day-one addition to Xbox Game Pass may appeal to both The Legend of Zelda and Persona fans, as it includes a healthy mixture of both series' elements.

Gun Interactive has revealed new cosmetics coming to The Texas Chain Saw Massacre on April 30 will be free to level 99 players. The cosmetics are a thank you to the community for devoting so many hours to the title. Additional content for The Texas Chain Saw Massacre will be available through the regular patch released at the same time.

Mortal Kombat 1’s next Kameo fighter is Mavado, the high-ranking commander of the ancient Red Dragon clan, and his release date has just been revealed. While Mortal Kombat 1’s main roster consists of revamped versions of classic characters in a brand-new timeline, the secondary Kameo fighter line-up contains the time-displaced original versions of combatants from across the old Mortal Kombat games. These older incarnations can be summoned to help the player during matches, adding new combos and strategies to Mortal Kombat 1’s gameplay.

During the 2024 ID@Xbox Showcase, Pocket Pair pulled back the curtain on an upcoming Palworld update introducing at least four new Pals and a new island for players to explore. The new Palworld update is slated to launch in the summer of 2024, and Pocket Pair shared a short teaser video of the new Pals that players will encounter in the update.

Fortnite will be introducing more Star Wars characters with this year's annual May the Fourth event. Fortnite is a highly versatile game when it comes to cosmetics. The hotfixes for Moon Studios’ No Rest for the Wicked continue to roll following its launch into Steam Early Access. The sixth hotfix addresses complaints of the game feeling too dark with improvements to rim light rendering in shadows. It improves visibility in darker areas and makes the characters “feel more integrated into the environments.”

Hades 2 developer Supergiant Games has announced that the technical test is almost over, and fans will soon be able to play the game through Early Access. Instead, the development team is taking several steps to allow more easily playing with friends, regardless of their Power.

Among its most unpopular decisions with Destiny 2, Bungie made two exceptionally annoying ones – vaulting previously released content, like The Red War, Curse of Osiris and Warmind campaigns, and capping Power on Legendary gear. It would slightly alter course on the latter, ensuring that Legendaries released after a point didn’t suffer the same issue. However, in The Final Shape, it’s completely reversing the decision.

A well-known gaming industry insider has claimed that Kingdom Hearts 4 will be released sometime next year. Kingdom Hearts 4 fans have been incredibly eager for more updates about the upcoming fourth mainline entry in Square Enix's long-running series. The game was first revealed during the franchise's 20th anniversary event, where a trailer showed Sora's situation after the events of Kingdom Hearts 3. This included a brand-new look for Sora, an apartment and city that resembled modern day Tokyo, and even some gameplay footage where Sora battled a giant Heartless.

The area surrounding the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant is the main setting for the sequel. With improved graphics, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl enhances the foundation laid down by previous franchise entries.

The wait for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been a long one, but with the long-anticipated open world survival horror FPS drawing closer to its launch a few months down the line, on the 38th anniversary of the Chornobyl nuclear disaster, developer GSC Game World has released a brief new trailer that offers another look at the game.

Allegedly in the works since as far back as 2018, Resident Evil 9 is set to have the longest ever development cycle for a Resident Evil game by the time it launches, which, as per prior reports, is going hand-in-hand with the series’ largest ever budget for a single game to date. After ending its open beta last year, Player First Games’ MultiVersus will fully launch next month. Alongside new characters, netcode changes, a PvE Mode, a shift to Unreal Engine 5 and more, several changes and new mechanics have been added. These include new Dash Attacks.
