While honing their craft in Overwatch 2's Practice Range, a player stumbled upon a strange glitch that changes standard-sized character models into stretched counterparts. This particular Overwatch 2 glitch is restricted to the Practice Range and needs the player to follow a certain movement to reproduce it.
The Practice Range in Overwatch 2 is designed for players to train and test out new heroes against a bunch of bots spread across the map. Players can make use of adjustable in-game settings and range markers for their training needs. On top of serving its original purpose, the map has recently also turned into a ground for reproducing a hilarious bug using different in-game characters.
In a recent Reddit post, user FalloutJaegar shared a comical glitch they encountered in Practice Range, one of Overwatch 2's maps, that transforms standard character models into freakish stretched-out anomalies. The post contained multiple images depicting the stretched versions of various Overwatch 2 characters. According to the OP's comment, the glitch could be triggered by making the player character walk into a certain lamp and then jump, leading to the character model morphing into an unusually stretched version of itself.
While the OP noted the glitch's funny nature, other Reddit users expressed their own opinion on the unusual in-game occurrence. In the comments, a user noted the unsettling appearance of the morphed character models, saying, «I’m scared.» Another user came in with a funny remark: «I guess you could call the third one… Daddy Long Legs.» A bunch of other comments highlighted the stretched models' eerie yet amusing appeal.
