Xur has returned in Bungie’s Destiny 2, appearing in the Tower Hangar. Unfortunately, much of the sought after loot is dropping in Onslaught, and his inventory just can’t hack it. Nevertheless, he’s carrying the Exotic energy shotgun Lord of Wolves and other items until the next reset.
Lord of Wolves deals Solar damage, and it’s noteworthy for its burst fire. It can also fire in full auto faster in its alternate mode, though ammo depletes more quickly. While not the most ideal Exotic or shotgun, it’s worth trying out for 29 Legendary Shards.
Alternatively, one could dump their currency into Hawkmoon, which has Hammer-Forced Rifling, Rangefinder and Combat Grip as its random roll. As for other Exotics, there’s Knucklehead Radar (Hunter helm), Eternal Warrior (Titan helm) and Ophidian Aspect (Warlock gloves), each available for 23 Legendary Shards.
This week’s Legendary armor is the Lost Pacific set, with each piece costing 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer. Check out the latest Legendary weapons below:

As the winds of autumn gather to whip us, like some sort of FromSoftware boss inspired by Devo, games shall emerge as your perfect reason to stay indoors. Admittedly, we're in the dead period of the year, so that means looking back to recent releases and classics of yore. If you do want to keep things seasonal, it's the perfect time to play the discounted Resi 4 Remake and Far Cry 5 below—both of which take place in autumn. Otherwise, just binge a ton of Yakuza games (purely because they're cheap and awesome).
The barrage of TV — and great TV — continues apace in 2024, with plenty of intriguing new and returning shows launching their seasons this week.
Manor Lords is the most wish-listed game on Steam at the time of this writing, and from my early impressions, it’s an excellent medieval village management simulator. It’s like Banished, but taken up a notch. But as impressive and fun as it is already, it’s still an Early Access game, which means getting it to run at its best requires a little finesse with the settings.
Onslaught and Pantheon are probably the better places to obtain loot these days in Destiny 2, but regardless, Xur is back. Currently in the European Dead Zone on Earth until the next weekly reset, he’s selling the Exotic Energy trace rifle, Prometheus Lens.
Paytm, the financial technology company led by Vijay Shekhar Sharma, has had a disastrous 2024. While the company was stopped from onboarding new customers a couple of years ago, it has been instructed by the Reserve Bank of India to stop all wallet-related services. Although it has recently been allowed to operate as a third-party UPI provider, Paytm users have already been looking for alternatives. So, if you're among them, then check out the top 5 payment apps for carrying out secure and simplified payments among the likes of Google Pay, PhonePe and more.

Bandai Namco promised a balance patch for Tekken 8 this Spring, and based on the recent notes, it’s a doozy. Going live on May 7th at 7 PM PDT, Ver.1.04.00 contains adjustments to several fighters. Right off the bat, characters like Asuka, Bryan, Jack-8, Panda, Zafina, and Kuma have received some buffs, improving the usability of the game’s new Heat mechanics or further carving a niche for them.
Bandai Namco has revealed its roadmap for Tekken 8 throughout the rest of 2024, including the game’s second DLC character, new story, and plenty more.
It's time to press start on another week of mad savings. I'm mighty keen on a few double packs (like Quake 1 + 2, Deathloop + Ghostwire, etc). Not to mention "whole shebang" collections going for a fraction of the price of a single game (see: Yakuza Remastered Collection, Trine Ultimate Collection, etc).
