Mikami gained notoriety as the director of Resident Evil, which went on to create and popularize the survival horror genre. Recently, he was part of Tango Gameworks, which he left in 2023. He's currently working with Grasshopper Manufacture Inc. on Shadows of the Damned: Hella Remastered.
