As the Helldivers 2 community formally piles into Malevelon Creek for a surprise Major Order following a failed operation, creative director and Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt says the studio is talking about ways to make such orders easier to understand.
To give you the short version, the previous Major Order failed in no small part because planets adjacent to the target planets, Ubanea and Tibit, were either important but easy to miss, or unimportant but easy to misread. The whole thing got pretty confusing, and has redoubled discussion about how the supply lines connecting Major Order targets can be conveyed.
As the Helldivers Alerts Twitter spotted, one player, Thekrzysiek, created a mockup of what clearly denoted supply lines could look like. It seems Pilestedt is a fan of the idea, at the very least.

The new Helldivers 2 Major Order was smashed through in under a day, but some players are concerned the game wasn't tracking Terminid kills correctly.
We doubt we were alone in wondering whether some kind of transmogrification system could reach fashion-conscious Helldivers 2 players grasping hands, but sadly, that won't be the case. Arrowhead CEO Johan Pilestedt put this particular pipe dream to bed, definitively stating, «We are not doing transmog.»
The next step in Helldivers 2’s ongoing Galactic War is here, and it’s just about the most straightforward yet: kill bugs. Lots of bugs.

The last few days have been rough for Helldivers 2 players, to say the least. As the weekend began, we were hit with a new Major Order – halt the Automaton advance and hold the Menkent line, maintaining complete control over Menkent and Lesath in the process. It's just two planets, so simple enough, right?
The official Helldivers 2 Discord server recently set up a poll channel to gauge players' opinions on various updates and features, and after seven hours its inaugural polls indicate that the game's community hopes to see a little more oomph from its Warbonds and marksman rifles.
borrows a lot of things from the first game, but skips out on multiple enemy factions — not just the Illuminate. At launch and up until the time of writing, Helldivers 2 has had two enemy factions: the Terminids (Bugs) and the Automatons (Bots). However, with the recent total success of the Major Order "", it appears the Automatons have finally been eradicated once and for all. Of course, there's always a chance they'll return, but for the time being, players are left to wonder what comes next.
A new Helldivers 2 patch fixes plenty of in-game crashes, after developer Arrowhead had to recommend players let the game "rest" this past weekend due to persistent crashes.
After quietly roiling away on Itch.io for a few months, bite-sized strategy gambling game Buckshot Roulette has come to Steam and instantly become one of the most popular and highest-rated PC games of the year. It only costs $3 ($2.69 thanks to an ongoing sale), you can finish it in well under an hour, and there's a very good reason that it's gotten over 6,600 user reviews with a 96% positive score since its April 4 Steam launch.
Helldivers 2 players are fearing for the worst as their progress in liberating three Automaton-held planets for the latest Major Order is flatlining.
After tumultuous back and forth, there's a new Major Order to liberate all Automaton planets in Helldivers 2 and crush the bot threat in the Western front. It's looking like the climax for an arc of the Galactic War that's now defined several consecutive weeks of Helldivers 2, and as players continue to spill oil in the name of democracy, the nature and direction of the game's emergent narrative has gotten some timely details straight from developer Arrowhead.
