MegaCrit Games announced Slay the Spire 2 during the Triple-i Initiative Showcase.

Palworld has made its name by allowing players to do a lot of things Pokemon would never let you do, but there’s one core Pokemon features it doesn’t have – the ability to take on others in PvP battles. Well, it seems that’s going to change, as during today’s Triple-I Initiative showcase, we got a first peek at the “Pal Arena” PvP mode, coming sometime in 2024.

Tonight marked the first ever Triple-i showcase, a new digital event highlighting a vast number of indie game projects on the way.

MOUSE has got a new gameplay trailer from developer Fumi Games and publisher PlaySide Publishing. The game has been inspired by the animation of 1930’s cartoons, and the main character is a mouse. It’s a gritty, noir. first person shooter, and you can see lots of cartoon mice (not Mickey Mouse) getting their heads shot off.

Prince of Persia fans are really feasting this year. We've already seen the release of the well-received Metroidvania Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, but Ubisoft just announced another game in the franchise. The Rogue Prince of Persia is a team-up with Evil Empire, the developers behind the iconic roguelite Dead Cells. It comes to Steam early access on May 14.

It's been nearly eight years since I wrote about Fallout Cascadia, a total conversion mod for Bethesda's Fallout 4 game. I nearly forgot about it, which is understandable since the last showcase video the modding team pushed on YouTube was dated July 2021.

I've given it some thought, and I think the answer is: "has more money and status than most indies, but not, like, Call of Duty levels, and also one our partners is Gearbox Publishing, so this is perhaps ‘indie’ in the Geoff Keighley sense."

Publisher Microids and newcomer developer Savage Level have revealed Flint: Treasure of Oblivion, a turn-based tactical RPG set in a world of piracy.
