A former Rockstar Games developer has revealed that one of the "hardest technical challenges" during the development of GTA 3 was due to the PS2's memory, which is why the player wasn't able to fly planes outside of a brief trip in the Dodo.

Grand Theft Auto 6 was finally revealed at the end of 2023, but we've had no further information about the title since then. There have been rumors of release dates, delays, cast members, and detailed breakdowns of pretty much every minute detail of the game's first trailer, but a lot of the official information surrounding the game is still a mystery, including who will play protagonists Lucia and Jason.
Speculation has been rife about Lucia's actor, with guesses ranging from Law & Order actress Ana Esposito to Jessica Jones actress Manni L. Perez, but info on Jason's actor is much less abundant. This is mostly down to his lack of dialogue in the game's trailer, which was heavily centered on Lucia, but his actor may have now been found, according to info from Game Rant.
American actor Gregory Connors is the name put forward by Game Rant, which claims to have seen Connors' resume and the inclusion that he managed to land a "lead" role in a Rockstar title releasing in 2025. We'll have to take Game Rant's word for it, as the role in question appears to have already been removed from his resume, but there's only one title we know of coming from Rockstar with the release window.
Game Rant also notes that Connors has a rather suspicious gap in his acting credits on IMDB. Connors has been very consistently getting work ever since 2019, though he wasn't credited in anything during the entirety of 2023. Obviously, development can differ between studios, but it's not too uncommon for developers to record the voices for characters a couple of years before the game's release.
Unfortunately, there are a couple of things that could potentially rule Connors out as Jason's actor. One of the biggest points of contention is that he looks nothing like Jason, and Rockstar typically uses the likeness of their actors for their characters. For example, Michael looks a lot like actor Ned Luke, and Trevor also looks a lot like his actor Steven Ogg. We don't get the greatest look at Jason in GTA 6's trailer, but they still don't look all that similar.
There's also the fact that Connors decided to put the role on his resume in the first place. Rockstar is extremely strict with NDAs, and it's not difficult to imagine the studio drilling it into the heads of its actors playing the game's protagonist to not let the cat out of the bag just yet. Obviously, Connors does have a role in GTA 6, and it still could be Jason, but there's also a possibility he could be playing the game's main villain, which would still be classed as a "lead" role. Until it's confirmed, the mystery remains unsolved.

Allegedly in the works since as far back as 2018, Resident Evil 9 is set to have the longest ever development cycle for a Resident Evil game by the time it launches, which, as per prior reports, is going hand-in-hand with the series’ largest ever budget for a single game to date. It seems, however, that Capcom might have pushed back the game further out than originally planned to give it even more time in the oven.
A recent update to the GTA 6 mapping project, released on April 12, 2024, indicates a substantial increase in land area compared to previous versions. According to observations by GTAForums user lxr, the potential map size could be 2.55 times that of GTA 5. The mapping project, undertaken by enthusiasts, draws upon leaked information and official trailers to speculate on the layout of GTA 6's map.
Last year, Grand Theft Auto 5's source code was stolen and uploaded online, and within the data, players found a cancelled Agent Trevor single-player DLC that would've taken him to space. It's unclear when and why the expansion was scrapped, but actor Steven Ogg has since shed light on the project.
The release date for Genshin Impact maker HoYoverse’s upcoming urban role-playing game, Zenless Zone Zero, might have leaked before its official announcement. The action RPG’s soft “coming soon in 2024” placeholder text may actually mean this summer.
Zenless Zone Zero appears to be releasing on July 3.Zenless Zone Zero is a highly anticipated release from popular developer Hoyoverse. The developer's banner of video games includes Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail. This game appears to be putting its own unique spin on the action RPG genre, emphasizing its characters with unique personalities.
Modders have gotten Grand Theft Auto 5 to finally (sort of) run on the Nintendo Switch.
GTA 5 was no doubt a big hit for Rockstar, but come to find out, actors have confirmed that there was a lot of behind-the-scenes footage from the making of the game that were never released online. These scenes and clips are now kept somewhere on a harddrive or something else by one of the flimers during the time of the game being made never to be seen.
Apparently, we've been missing out on a whole load of behind-the-scenes footage from the making of GTA 5, that the cast claim was all filmed but never actually used. Now, we just can't help but wonder what moments have been locked away, never to be released to the world.
Some merchandise suggests that Ermac was originally meant to be a part of Mortal Kombat 1’s base roster instead of a post-launch DLC character. Originally created as a red-colored palette swap of famed ninjas Scorpion and Sub-Zero, Ermac has been a part of the Mortal Kombat mythos since Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, and it won’t be long before Mortal Kombat 1 players will be able to take control of this powerful undead warrior. Ermac is set to be introduced as the latest MK 1 DLC character on April 16 for Early Access players and April 23 for everyone else.
It has been the end of an era for the 3DS and Wii U, but the functionality of the Nintendoconsoles’ games may now be better protected than many initially thought. Considering the widespread repercussions, it is easy to see the recent shutdown of online services tied to the consoles as Nintendo destroying the childhood of many people. However, action has been taken to combat the dire effect that this will have on many beloved games, and save them from their fates.
Following the recent price hike for EA Play, as well as price bumps for other video game subscription services over the last year, Rockstar's GTA+ is getting more expensive too.
