The Rising Tide, the second and final expansion for Final Fantasy 16, is set to feature some of the game's most challenging combat scenarios. That's according to DLC director (and a lead combat designer for the base game) Takeo Kujiraoka, who, in an interview with Push Square, told us that the addition of DLC has allowed the development team to push the title's combat system.

Final Fantasy 16 was one of our favourite games of 2023, and so we wanted to find out more about The Rising Tide — the title's second and final expansion — ahead of its release on the 18th April. Fortunately, we were lucky enough to land an interview with Takeo Kujiraoka — the veteran Square Enix dev who's actually the director of Final Fantasy 16's DLC, having previously been a lead combat designer for the base game.

Red Hook Studios has today confirmed Darkest Dungeon 2 will be releasing for PS5 and PS4 on 15th July 2024. Its DLC, The Binding Blade, is also being ported across to Sony systems, though you'll need to buy it on top of the base game. Fallout 4 launches its native PS5 version on 25th April 2024, but if you want to make that upgrade as cheap as possible, you might want to take a look at the current PS Store spring sale. Both the base PS4 game and all of its DLC are on sale at the cheapest prices they've ever been, and the offers expire the day before the PS5 version releases. Bethesda has today revealed the long-awaited PS5 version of Fallout 4 will launch on 25th April 2024, with current PS4 owners getting a free upgrade to the native edition. Remnant II developer Gunfire Games have announced the game’s second story expansion, The Forgotten Kingdom, will launch later this month. Much like the first chunk of Remnant II story DLC, The Forgotten Kingdom will add a new playable class, the Invoker, and expand the Yaesha biome with new areas to explore, bosses, and a fresh self-contained storyline. Publisher Arc Games and developer Gunfire Games have announced Remnant II downloadable content “The Forgotten Kingdom.” It will launch on April 23 for $9.99, and is also available as part of the $24.99 downloadable content bundle.
