Square Enix has deployed Final Fantasy XVI update 1.31 for PlayStation 5, packing various improvements alongside changes and bug fixes.
Today's new update adds support for tomorrow's The Rising Tide expansion. According to Square Enix, the patch allows players to purchase and install the game's second official major DLC. In addition to this, this new update adds Orchestrion rolls to regional shops, increases player ATK outside of select Eikon battles, packs numerous Eikon and feat adjustments, and more. Other changes include accessory adjustments alongside changes to quests, skill sets, a custom controller type as well as plenty of bug fixes. Final Fantasy XVI is available globally now for PlayStation 5. Tomorrow's second expansion will add a new area to the game, an additional ally, and the water Eikon, Leviathan. We've included the trailer for the expansion below:
