A new Helldivers 2 update is on the way, this time with the newly announced Polar Patriots Warband releasing on May 9. This content update brings a plethora of new items and weapons into the fold for use in missions in Helldivers 2, as well as a ton of new customization options.

The new firmware version for Sony's console appears to be a minor one, and like most PlayStation system software updates, this latest update once again improves the system's stability and performance. In theory, with all these stability updates, the PS5 is almost as stable as the PS4 once was. In addition to improving software performance and stability, this new system update expands the UI's Game Help feature by adding Community Game Help Features. Also, the "Remote Play connected" message can now be hidden during Remote Play through the Remote Play options in the system settings.

In the official release notes, Sony also mentions that messages and usability on some screens has been improved, but further details about these improvements haven't been included. You can find the full release notes for this new system update here. Like most firmware updates, PS5 System Update 24.03-09.20.00 will likely also include some under-the-hood changes that we aren't aware of just yet. Of course, we'll report back in case we learn more about undocumented changes.
