GTA 5 Had Trevor DLC Before Rockstar Scrapped It, Voice Actor Steven Ogg Says

The voice actor for Batman in Arkham Origins, Roger Craig Smith, has hinted that he's returning to the role for the recently revealed Batman: Arkham Shadow.

The pack supposedly got as far as shooting with the actors, only to end up cancelled and folded into a GTA Online heist.

Fans of Grand Theft Auto 5 (GTA 5) were recently left disappointed when Steven Ogg, the voice actor behind the character Trevor Philips, revealed that a planned DLC focusing on Trevor's undercover adventures as an FBI agent has been cancelled.

Past reports have mentioned scrapped plans for story DLCs for the game, and more recently leaked database file from GTA 5 suggested that developers Rockstar Games cancelled a story mode DLC related to Trevor, one of the game's three main protagonists. Now, the actor who played the eccentric character in GTA 5 has said that he “shot some stuff” for a Trevor DLC that never saw the light of day.

Steven Ogg, the actor who famously voiced Grand Theft Auto 5 protagonist Trevor Philips, recently stated that he recorded dialogue for a DLC campaign that was ultimately canceled. Grand Theft Auto 5 is considered to be one of the biggest and best video games ever made, and a large part of its success lies in its memorable cast of characters. This includes Trevor, the trigger-happy partner of fellow GTA 5 playable character Michael De Santa who makes his way to the crime-ridden city of Los Santos after discovering that his old friend is still alive following a bank heist gone wrong.

Last year, Grand Theft Auto 5's source code was stolen and uploaded online, and within the data, players found a cancelled Agent Trevor single-player DLC that would've taken him to space. It's unclear when and why the expansion was scrapped, but actor Steven Ogg has since shed light on the project.
