Fate/Samurai Remnant's Second DLC Fully Revealed, a New Story with a Master Swordsman | Push Square

A new Helldivers 2 update is on the way, this time with the newly announced Polar Patriots Warband releasing on May 9. This content update brings a plethora of new items and weapons into the fold for use in missions in Helldivers 2, as well as a ton of new customization options.

Sony will add a new feature to PS5 later this year, allowing users to invite others to a multiplayer game by generating a shareable link on the console or via the PlayStation App. This link can then be shared on social media or via direct message, allowing AFK, offline, or even players you aren't friends with (yet) to secure a spot.

After the disappointment that was Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, wouldn't an entirely new entry in the Batman: Arkham series go over nicely? Well, that wish has come true, but you won't find it on any PlayStation hardware. Batman: Arkham Shadow is a VR title exclusive to Meta Quest 3, releasing at the end of 2024. Classic RPGs Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII have been referenced as inspirations behind a new galaxy-spanning RPG set for release on PS5, PS4 later this year. Beyond Galaxyland, from individual developer Sam Enright, is «an all-new take on the beloved RPG adventures of old» with an active turn-based combat system, platforming, and puzzle solving from the 2.5D perspective. The horror veterans at Bloober Team have partnered with a Take-Two Interactive subsidiary on a new game based on an original IP. Bloober Team itself recently confirmed the existence of this mysterious project, in addition to providing a status update on one other yet-to-be-revealed game that it currently has in the works.

Tomb Raider I-III Remastered developer Aspyr has confirmed the Lara Croft posters removed from the recent PS5, PS4 collection will be restored in its next patch. Without saying when the update will land, the team explains that the posters were «inadvertently removed» as a result of «several texture and graphical updates to the HD version».

Lego's partnership with Nintendo to turn Mario and elements of the Mushroom Kingdom into sets has enjoyed massive amounts of success since the range's introduction in 2020. It only makes sense that more Nintendo IP would eventually be turned into Lego, and picking the series responsible for the second-best-selling Switch game ever was the next logical step. Lego's debut Animal Crossing sets were released last month, and now we know that collection will be expanded upon this summer.

Despite being a very good game, Granblue Fantasy: Relink got a bit lost in what was a chaotic release schedule earlier this year — but developer Cygames will be hoping that the action RPG's first big update will get people's attention. Launching on the 26th April (that's tomorrow at the time of writing), patch 1.2.0 adds a bunch of new stuff to the game.

If you've pre-ordered the Premium Edition for Sea of Thieves off the PS Store, your seafaring quest can now begin on PS5 via five days of early access ahead of the official release date. Making its first appearance on Sony hardware, Rare brought its servers online for PS5 players, allowing them to get started on plundering islands and sailing the seas. This means PlayStation users can play the last few days of Season 11, before the next one starts on the official release date of 30th April 2024.

Four new game trials have been added to PS Plus Premium, letting you play a small chunk of the selected titles in order to see what they're about.

Sony and Shift Up have published an online comic book for Stellar Blade that appears to serve as a quick prequel to the events of the main game. Available to read through this link, it sees protagonist Eve and another character called Tachy sparring together, and then speaking of an upcoming mission to reclaim Earth. This is what you shall be doing in Stellar Blade once it hits PS5 on Friday.

It seems we aren't the only ones counting down the hours until the release of the PS5 exclusive Stellar Blade. Developer Shift Up has posted an impossibly drawn-out clip of the «secrets» contained within the game's PS5 physical box, which, as far as we can tell, amounts to a reversible cover/dust jacket and a download code for some cosmetic goodies.
