Some World of Warcraft fans have discovered an exploit in Plunderstorm that makes it so a Duo team can keep resurrecting each other while in the Storm. This cheap tactic is only possible thanks to a recent hotfix, but it allows World of Warcraft players to survive indefinitely while out of bounds in the battle royale.

While Datamining Phase 3 Season of Discovery, we've come across two items that are Druid specific. Two popular items that are exclusively used by Feral Druids in World of Warcraft Classic is Wolfshead Helm and Manual Crowd Pummeler. These items are so essential to the Feral Druid DPS Class, they are essentially used until the Dark Portal opens. From datamining, it looks like Blizzard might be introducing two new Druid specific items, effectively replacing Wolfshead Helm and Manual Crowd Pummeler -- Thanks Hathorne for the tip!

Season of Discovery has always been about making bold changes to the World of Warcraft Classic formula, and Phase 4 is set to completely rework endgame tier sets for all classes. Whereas the original intent behind World of Warcraft Classic was about preserving and allowing players to experience the content as it used to be, Season of Discovery embraces its experimental side. New class combinations, new items, new events, and new raids have managed to breathe life into Classic servers, as World of Warcraft subscriptions are on the rise.

World of Warcraft Classic is adding a way for Priest players to learn every race-specific spell in Season of Discovery. Once this new feature makes its way to Season of Discovery in Phase 4, World of Warcraft Priests will be able to combine certain spells in ways that have never been possible before.

During a Games Developer Conference lecture reflecting on 30 years of Warcraft, Senior Vice President and Warcraft Franchise General Manager John Hight shared World of Warcraft subscriber trends from Legion through Dragonflight, noting the successes, failures, and changes made to course correct dwindling numbers following Shadowlands. As reported by Korean webzine Inven, Hight's talk began with history of the franchise, how it captured players with a revolutionary RTS and evolved into both an MMO and several other game types. While the talk itself is interesting enough, the focal point of the discussion reflects specifically on the successes and failures of World of Warcraft, how it built decades worth of fans, why some fans had turned away, and what changes were made to bring them back, with slides depicting subscriber trends from Legion through Dragonflight.

One World of Warcraft: Dragonflight player has unexpectedly received a Season 4 loot item called Dreadful Synchronous Timestrand ahead of schedule. The player shared their situation with the World of Warcraft: Dragonflight community, who are attempting to assist them in finding an explanation.

Upon reaching Renown 5 with the Keg Leg's Crew in Plunderstorm, Dragonflight players also unlock a new vendor in Valdrakken offering a limited amount of mid-level crests and a single Bind-on-Account cache containing normal Amirdrassil loot! To unlock, simply play Plunderstorm until you reach Renown 5, and the next time you log into Dragonflight, you should automatically be prompted with the quest, A Keg-Stamped Package. Heading to the Valdrakken inn, you'll see a few new NPCs in the corner, where Da'kash Grimledger, Plix Sputtermouth, and Polly Roger have taken up residence. Turning in the quest will grant you 15 bind-on-account Keg-Stamped Coin, which can be mailed to any character on your Battle.net account. Da'kash Grimledger will then have a new vendor option, selling:

It's been over three years since Riot officially started working on the long-rumored League of Legends MMO. The World of Warcraft servers are officially live with Plunderstorm, bringing with it all the piratical rewards players can earn through the new game mode. By progressing through the Renown track, World of Warcraft fans can earn mounts, minions, titles, transmogs, and even Trader’s Tender.

There are several rewards to unlock by participating in the Plunderstorm battle royale, but what happens when you win? While a pre-release interview with PCGamer noted exclusive cosmetic rewards for those who take first place, players don't need to worry about missing items from their collections tab. It's true that winning a Plunderstorm battle royale match by being the last player standing will award a special tabard and eyepatch, but unlike the Keg Leg's Crew Renown Rewards, these cosmetics and the associated First Rate Mate buff are only applied to your Plunderstorm pirate — both of which only last through the next match. Squishei and Portergauge are honored first mates… until someone else takes the title! Instead, players will unlock an identical Plunderlord's Monocle at Renown 38 and Plunderlord's Tabard at Renown 40 for use on their main account. That doesn't mean winning is pointless though, as the last player standing will also take home the exclusive Plunder Wonder Feat of Strength achievement; thereby celebrating match winners without blocking access to any of the cosmetic rewards!
