World of Warcraft: Plunderstorm is a new limited-time 60-player battle royale available now

Landfall—the studio behind games like Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, Rounds, and Stick Fight: The Game—has released its latest title, Content Warning. The game is a first-person co-op horror game, and the PC version is available for free on Steam until April 2, 9AM PT. The game will be priced at $7.99 after the free period ends.

In a recent announcement, Blizzard confirmed the imminent addition of trios to World of Warcraft's Plunderstorm battle royale game mode. The introduction of this battle royale mode via Patch 10.2.6 seems to have garnered an overall positive response from the community, prompting World of Warcraft's developers to take this progressive step forward.

Blizzard has more plans to bring future experimental game modes and content to World of Warcraft. The new experiences will be added in future World of Warcraft updates and seasons to keep players interested and engaged with the game.

Once a game like has been around for two decades, it is good to shake things up a bit with creative new experiences for players to engage in, such as the limited-time event that is happening now. This event allows everyone with a subscription to either or to enter a new 60-player battle royale experience. Taking on the role of an NPC in the world, having no class, skills, or abilities, players get to learn and level up in quick matches, trying their best to be the last one standing.
