The World of Warcraft servers are officially live with Plunderstorm, bringing with it all the piratical rewards players can earn through the new game mode. By progressing through the Renown track, World of Warcraft fans can earn mounts, minions, titles, transmogs, and even Trader’s Tender.
Recently, World of Warcraft revealed Plunderstorm, the big mystery behind Patch 10.2.6. It features a new battle royale mode separate from the normal game, with players fighting against 59 other fans as they seek to plunder the Arathi Highlands in an action-packed battle for dominance. The limited-time event is expected to run for about six weeks, during which players can earn all sorts of exclusive rewards.
Now, the World of Warcraft servers have begun to come up after maintenance, opening the gates to the new game mode and its myriad rewards. As they progress through the 40 levels of the new Keg Leg’s Crew Renown track, they will unlock tons of exclusive cosmetics. As reported by Wowhead, players will earn four mounts and minions – three for retail and one for Classic – three transmog ensembles, and 11 cosmetic weapons. Players can also unlock a special tabard, a pirate skin for their Pepe, five titles, a toy, and 750 Trader’s Tender for use at the Trading Post.

Like other Renown factions in World of Warcraft, players must earn reputation with Keg Leg's Crew to increase their Renown level. This is done by playing matches, each of which runs an average of 8–10 minutes. The longer players survive, the more reputation they earn towards their Renown track. Each match seems to reward between 500 and 1000 reputation, meaning fans can expect to gain a level every three to five matches. Players hoping to reach Renown 40 and earn all the rewards will probably have to

World of Warcraft fans have discovered unused spells, mechanics, and other features that were relics of previous iterations of Plunderstorm. These features were left on the cutting room floor, but they suggest World of Warcraft nearly gave players a very different type of battle royale than the piratical clash they received.
Engineers in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery can unlock several crafting recipes that are usually restricted under the Goblin or Gnomish specializations. By completing a special quest from Season of Discovery Phase 3, World of Warcraft players can craft both Goblin and Gnomish Engineering items on the same character.
World of Warcraft’s Primal Storms have been acting strangely over the past several days, with the event occasionally spawning twice at once, or not popping up at all. This erratic behavior has made it difficult for some World of Warcraft players to complete its accompanying achievements.
Hunter players in World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery can obtain a special item that lets them tame Core Hounds in Phase 3. Though fans could tame these fiery beasts in retail World of Warcraft for a while, this is the first time Hunters have been able to get one in Classic Era.
World of Warcraft Classic Season of Discovery’s new Nightmare Incursions PvE event uses some old assets from the game’s original Emerald Dream zone idea. After nearly two decades, these old World of Warcraft items are finally getting the chance to see the light of day in Classic Season of Discovery Phase 3.
World of Warcraft Season of Discovery Phase 3’s new Sunken Temple raid is extremely challenging, having walled players with its difficulty far longer than any other in Classic history. For the first time in World of Warcraft, a Classic raid hasn’t been conquered in a matter of hours, making the Sunken Temple one of the hardest raids in it to date.
World of Warcraft Classic just shared a short video previewing the Sunken Temple raid in Season of Discovery Phase 3. This 20-player version of the infamous World of Warcraft dungeon is available in Season of Discovery Phase 3 right now.
World of Warcraft just buffed the drop chance for the Noble Flying Carpet mount from the Noblegarden event. From now until the event ends on April 8, fans have a better chance of looting this rare World of Warcraft mount, with an even higher chance on the first kill of the day.
A Drake’s Big Basket of Eggs, a World of Warcraft toy added to Noblegarden last year, now works with Dracthyr, allowing the characters to carry the basket in their mouths just like their Dragonriding mounts. This hilarious and adorable interaction was made possible thanks to changes to the Dracthyr Soar racial ability in a previous World of Warcraft patch.
The new Duck Disguiser toy added to the Noblegarden event in World of Warcraft takes six years to get all of its color variations. This bizarre unlock process is not account-wide, causing no small amount of frustration among World of Warcraft players.
Warcraft Rumble just teased the arrival of the Darkmoon Faire, a new PvE event coming to the mobile game. The iconic creepy carnival from World of Warcraft will be making its debut in Warcraft Rumble soon.
