is at least partially open-world, but the question of its map size is a little more complicated. 's director and developers are clearly drawing on a long tradition of action RPGs like. That means freely roamable open worlds, twisty-turny dungeons, and lots of secrets and side quests to be discovered in between. borrows genre conventions, like a perfect parry system, combo-based combat, and a meter that unlocks special attacks.

Playing through to the credits in can take a while, but anyone particularly enraptured with the game might want to keep the adventure going after the ending. tells the story of a futuristic soldier named Eve working to retake a ruined Earth, a task that requires fighting plenty of hostile creatures with uniquely challenging attacks to parry and overcome. It can be tempting to rush through to keep the focus on the action, but there's also an appeal in ferreting out secrets in its harsh world.

F1 24 is set to introduce some of the biggest changes the racing series has ever seen. Following the reveal of the massive physics update earlier this week, Codemasters has now unveiled the changes coming to Career Mode. For the first time, the developers will allow players to pick one of the current Formula One superstars or even a legendary driver like Ayrton Senna or Michael Schumacher. It's been a busy week in WoW and here's Blizzard's recap of the awesome events that happened this last week.

In this post, we're taking a look at all the new «Earthen Dungeon» armor and weapon models in the War Within, presumably from the eight new expansion dungeons. Note that while the weapons come in many colors, the available armor tints are limited--we expect them to increase as the alpha progresses. The cloth set will also have a robe option in the future.

Now that’s what I call a bug hunt! It took Helldivers 2 players less than 24 hours to complete its latest Major Order: to kill two billion Terminids.

MMORPGs have offered the promise of player agency and being able to shape the world but those promises usually fall flat beyond the premise of having a stronghold in one part of the world or adjusting tax and trade ratios in another. Bitcraft: Age of Automata aims to break that concept down to the basic voxels by allowing players to literally shape the shared world as they see fit. With a single shared world to craft bit by bit, there's something special in the works with Clockwork Labs, Inc.

Dragonflight Season 4 arrives to World of Warcraft on April 23!

The War Within is bringing us new Embellishments for crafted gear, including several Jewelcrafting options as well as Armor and Weapon Embellishments. We're not getting these powerful effects for free, however. While not yet present on any of the crafted items, we have found a new Embellishment tag, suggesting that the most powerful special effects on crafted gear will be limited similar to Dragonflight. While some of these Embellishments are clearly a work in progress, we're sure there will be many more to come!

For all the positive things players have to say about Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, one aspect of the game which we've seen nothing but ire directed towards is its confusingly worded retry screen, which players will be hit with in the event of a Game Over. Thankfully, this issue has been quietly addressed in the game's most recent patch, which fixed Platinum Trophy progression, making it at least slightly less confusing now.

Sadly, February marked the passing of Yoshitaka Murayama, the legendary creator of Suikoden and its spiritual successor, Eiyuden Chronicle, with Hundred Heroes releasing on PS5 and PS4 next week. Developer Rabbit & Bear Studios has announced its intention to proceed with the series, but what form that takes will depend on how its impending and eagerly anticipated JRPG is received.

Open up Botany Manor for the first time, and you’re immediately struck by, for lack of a better term, an overwhelmingly cozy vibe. An imaginative Pokemon fan recently put together a fake commercial for the ever-helpful Poke Mart Potions. The Pokemon franchise is largely centered around elementally empowered creatures battling one another, and injuries and lowered health meters are just part of the job for any aspiring Pokemon Trainer. If a Pokemon’s health is depleted completely, it faints and can no longer be used to battle until it is restored at the local Pokemon Center, but there are luckily several portable Pokemon items players can use to keep their critters in top fighting condition.

Ubisoft has announced that an Assassin’s Creed Mirage free trial is now live, and will be live until April 30th. The free trial will give access to the first two hours of Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and any progression made will carry over if you decide to purchase the game. The free trial is available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

Supergiant Games has confirmed players can sign up for the Hades II technical test. To join you will need to head to the Hades II Steam Page, and click on the request access button. This will register our interest to play Hades II early. The population of the players that will be successful will small, but Supergiant will expand as time goes on.

Apple currently leverages TSMC’s 3nm process for several of its chipsets, and the company may stick to this manufacturing process for a few iPhone generations. According to the latest report, the iPhone 17 will not be the first lineup to sport an A-series SoC fabricated on the ultra-advanced 2nm node. This will mean that the A19 Pro that is expected in 2025 will retain the 3nm lithography, but it will not be the same technology, as you will soon find out.

Blizzard has added tweaks to Seal of Martyrdom for Paladins in the upcoming April 16 class tuning pass for Season of Discovery. Blizzard announced a few days ago that classes would be receiving some light tuning this upcoming weekly reset, and Paladins had a change to Light's Grace's Rune slot to look forward to.

The Sonic the Hedgehog 3 movie got a new teaser at CinemaCon, revealing a new look for the returning villain, Eggman. While the clip hasn't been made public yet, multiple attendees report that Eggman has put on some weight, putting him more in line with his appearance in the games.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth director and long-time series producer Yoshinori Kitase hopes that the world of the seventh entry in the series will continue after the remake project will be completed with the third entry.

Blizzard has announced class tuning coming on April 16 for Season of Discovery, including moving many Runes to different slots — like Light's Grace from Helms to Bracers! As Diablo 4’s first PTR week comes to an end, players almost unanimously agree — next Season’s itemization overhaul is a big win! However, the upcoming changes have raised an interesting question: are Rare items going to be useless? Diablo 4 Season 4 Elixir Revamp Recruiting Diablo 4 Rogue Writers In the Season 4 PTR, Rare items only dropped with 2 random Affixes, while Legendary items always dropped with 3 Affixes. If this continues to be the case during Season 4, then Legendary items will always have greater potential over Rares.

Blizzard is opening Pandaria Remix PTR servers for testing this weekend, April 12 — 14, including all content such as heroic raids, all quest zones, and the new Cloak of Infinite Potential! The PTR testing will be open and available from 10am PDT on the 12th until 10pm PDT on the 14th.

Hot off the heels of the series’ excellent return to form in January’s The Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, his sword-swinging highness is stepping away from the Metroidvania structure and into the procedurally generated, live, die, repeat mold of Dead Cells, in The Rogue Prince of Persia. While I’ve only had a very short amount of hands-on time with the upcoming adventure, the early signs suggest that this could well be the second dazzling jewel added to the Prince’s crown in less than the space of a year.

The Twilight's Hammer Regalia transmog set, available to WoW Classic progression characters through the Cataclysm Classic upgrade bundle, has finally been revealed! There set doesn't appear currently include a hat, though one may show up in a later build. Blizzard announced the Cataclysm Classic upgrade last November at BlizzCon, and although we got to see visuals for the Avatar of Flame and Runebound Firelord flying mounts, as well as the Lil' Wrathion pet, we didn't get a look at the transmog set (unfortunately only available to Classic progression characters, not retail) until today's datamining. Blizzard is implementing Fortunate Finds in Tejal's Shop in Diablo 4, allowing for personal shop discounts on a player-by-player basis of up to 50% off.

With the PTR for Diablo 4's Season 4 ending this Tuesday (4/9), and a handful of important interactions still being bugged and non-playable, some players have rallied behind the desire to extend the PTR to identify and provide feedback on additional bugs.
