F1 24 is set to introduce some of the biggest changes the racing series has ever seen. Following the reveal of the massive physics update earlier this week, Codemasters has now unveiled the changes coming to Career Mode. For the first time, the developers will allow players to pick one of the current Formula One superstars or even a legendary driver like Ayrton Senna or Michael Schumacher. Here's an overview provided by Codemasters:

Everything in Career Mode will be driven by the new Driver Recognition system. Players will be tasked with specific goals during race weekends, contract targets, and season-long specific goals. As their reputation grows, they will get new offers from teams, and much like the real world, they can participate in secret contract meetings with rival teams to secure the best seat on the grid. Of course, these meetings bring an element of risk that their current team would find out. The players' performance on track and how they achieve their goals will impact the bargaining power in the marketplace.
The reputation also ties into the updated R&D system. As the player's reputation grows, the team will be more eager to design and build new parts. The upgrades will be produced far quicker and with a smaller chance of the parts failing.
Another new feature added to Career Mode in F1 24 is Accolades. These milestones are tied to each driver based on their real achievements in the sport. If you choose to play as a custom driver, the Accolades will be a blank slate at first, acquiring Accolades as you play the Career Mode. Whoever you choose, your career progression will earn you Accolades based on your performances, such as the number of race starts, points finishes, wins, podiums, and more.
If you've got a fellow friend, you can play together in the Two-Player Career for a completely different experience. Lastly, in the

Around three months ago, a flurry of rumors suggested that Microsoft was preparing many Xbox exclusive games to go multiplatform, including heavyweights like Gears of War, Starfield, and the upcoming Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. Shortly after those rumors, Microsoft broadcast a 'business update event' where Xbox executives revealed that a few games were indeed making the jump to PlayStation and/or Nintendo Switch consoles. These games turned out to be Hi-Fi Rush, Pentiment, Grounded, and Sea of Thieves. Phil Spencer labeled this an experiment and warned it didn't mean other, bigger games would definitely appear on other consoles:

It took a little longer than usual, but Helldivers 2's latest patch has finally dropped, giving us some new tweaks to certain weapons, an increase in difficulty for solo players, and some general balance changes. It's a pretty standard patch, but we all know how Arrowhead likes to leave the odd new addition out of the patch notes, and one such nerf seems to have hit Shield Generator Backpack users pretty hard.
Escape from Tarkov, arguably the game that popularized the extraction shooter genre, recently got itself embroiled in a huge controversy once again.

The Fallout craze continues to pay dividends for Bethesda. Earlier this week, the studio announced that Fallout 76 surpassed one million daily players across all platforms for the first time since its launch in late 2018. The multiplayer game is one of the top sellers on Steam (and elsewhere), largely thanks to various promotions and offers that have, however, since ended. On Valve's PC platform, the game reached 73.3K concurrent players last Sunday.
It’s still unclear whether cloud gaming will ever become the next big thing. The appeal is clear: The game you’re playing runs in a data center near you, and the video output is directly streamed to your local device. When you interact with the game, everything is relayed back to the data center.
