Diablo franchise boss Rod Fergusson reckons Blizzard's long-running action-RPG series would make a great TV show.

Another fun collection update coming in Dragonflight Patch 10.2.7 is the ability for players to customize their own Personal Tabard, following a short questline in Valdrakken! Just like the Guild Tabard, players will be able to customize their personal tabard with its own icon, colors, boarder, and background, sharing all the same options between them, but this also means that players should no longer feel the need to create their own one-person guild just to show off their favorite design! As noted by MrGM, the tabard is unlocked account-wide, though the designs are character specific, allowing each character to customize the tabard as they see fit, using helpful Tabard Designer NPCs located in major faction cities or a new designer in Valdrakken.

I love whenSpy x Family veers into slice-of-life drama. I like seeing super duper capable spy Loid Forger and lethal assassin Yor navigate mundane activities like cooking dinner or planning date nights. I’m giddy when telepathic Anya uses her powers in a dodgeball match. I’m sure there are fans that prefer the more action-heavy, spy-thriller episodes, but I like when studios Wit and Cloverworks keep it chill. With 20 episodes a season, the anime has the space to deftly balance these two tones.

The video game industry is changing. As financial growth stagnates, companies like PlayStation have experimented with ways to adapt as markets and trends change. Where it was once able to rely on its first-party blockbusters to build and maintain an audience, it is looking more likely that it will need to invest in new strategies to prepare for the ways the industry is shifting. We see this with a bigger push into live-service and mobile games, but there’s another initiative that isn’t going to pay dividends in the near future but could set the groundwork for future success: the Hero Project.

Fallout's first season has gone down a treat with most fans, giving us eight episodes of Fallout goodness that some even consider to be a rather unorthodox sequel to the game series. However, between all the glowing reviews and excited praise, there are a certain section of fans that are unhappy with some of the changes to the lore that the show made, particularly regarding the NCR and the canon status of Fallout: New Vegas.

Something about postapocalyptic video games makes them perfect for adaptations. Fallout, The Last of Us, and Twisted Metal all have that kind of setting and have been some of the most well-liked video game adaptations ever. Maybe it’s because the apocalypse provides such a rich sandbox to play in, or maybe it’s because that kind of setting forces characters to make difficult choices, but it’s the kind of setting that makes for both good gaming and TV.

The Fallout TV show isn’t particularly beautiful – at least, not like a bride is supposed to be. Its characters spend most of their time trudging through the irradiated grime of derelict California, avoiding pools of who-knows-what and drinking animal piss if they really need to. It’s a tough reality to witness, but that’s what makes the Prime Video game adaptation’s violent first episode so critical; its bloodbath wedding welcomes viewers to Fallout’s no-nonsense approach to love and desperation. To do it effectively, Fallout mines the ancient trope for every last perversion.

Hades 2 is still in the early stages of testing, but the game looks good. Like, really good.

16 more games are heading to PS Plus through the Extra and Premium tiers this month, and as is often the case, there's quite a lot of variety on show. April's offering is headlined by not one, not two, but three brand new releases on PS5 and PS4: the incredibly highly rated Dave the Diver, the promising Tales of Kenzera: ZAU, and Animal Well. Although technically, ZAU is out a little later in the month, and Animal Well is out in May.

The actor behind the incredibly memorable Fallout 3 radio host, Three Dog, is interested in appearing in Amazon's excellent TV adaptation. Erik Todd Dellums, who lent his voice to the character in Bethesda's 2008 game, says he's got «something darker than Three Dog, but just as funny and alluring» cooking, and we'd quite frankly love to see it.

However, not every Fallout fan is happy with how it seemingly rewrites what was thought to be established series lore, apparently retconning the ending of beloved black sheep, Fallout: New Vegas. As if there was much doubting it at this point, the copyright claim of a YouTube video, which has resulted in its removal, points towards all of the PS5 Pro leaks being accurate. The video in question was posted by the channel Moore's Law Is Dead, and it had a hand in kickstarting the leaks that have since surrounded Sony's upgraded console. The copyright claim was, of course, filed by Sony Interactive Entertainment — and so it's easy to conclude that the information was bang on, at least to some extent.

Pokemon GO just yesterday released a brand new update for avatars in the game. While part of the update made things run a whole lot smoother overall in Pokemon GO, the update also adjusted how players avatar characters will look. The animated origin story of Autobot leader Optimus Prime and his Decepticon rival Megatron will come to the big screen this September in Transformers One, with Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree Henry voicing the friends turned enemies. The first episode of Fallout, the new streaming series on Amazon, felt a lot like the beginning of Fallout 3 for me — and not in the good way. Swapping out Liam Neeson for Kyle MacLachlan felt like a downgrade going in, but that’s probably because I’m just not a fan of his “subtle dread and kind smile” schtick. Supergiant Games just treated Hades fans to an extensive look at the game's upcoming sequel. Seriously — the developer hosted a three-hour livestream that showed off Hades II's gameplay, new features and mechanics, as well as the new designs for its characters based on the gods of Greek mythology. Supergiant's Creative Director Greg Kasavin and Studio Director Amir Rao demonstrated the abilities of the game's new protagonist, Melinoë. While she's the sister of Zagreus, the first title's protagonist, and Hades II is a direct sequel to the original, Kasavin and Rao said players don't need to have prior knowledge of the first game and of Greek mythology to enjoy it. Old fans, however, will catch «delightful references» here and there.
