A roadmap for all of the content and collaborations coming to Fortnite in 2024 has reportedly leaked and hinted at crossovers with Pirates of the Caribbean and Metallica, although reliable Fortnite leakers seem split on whether it's real or not.
Anyone who has been following Fortnite for a while is likely aware that it can be a pretty leaky ship and that its secrets tend to get unearthed by insiders and leakers fairly often. Whether it's features like first-person mode being datamined from the game's files or shop listings and trailers accidentally going live before they're supposed to, fans often find out what Epic Games is cooking behind the scenes before they're meant to.
Although there's a lot about Fortnite that tends to get leaked and we're usually one step ahead of what we're supposed to know, it's rare that we get to potentially see a whole year's worth of plans unveiled at once. That might be exactly what has just happened, though, as a new leak claims to show all of what is planned for the game in 2024.
As reported by reliable Fortnite insider HYPEX, an image is doing the rounds that claims to show everything that's planned for Fortnite in 2024 across Lego Fortnite, Battle Royale, Fortnite Festival, and Rocket Racing (sorry Save The World). The leak, which apparently originates from 4chan, suggests that the next season will be inspired by Mad Max and have crossovers with Pirates of the Caribbean and Metallica of all things.
It also suggests that Lego Fortnite will see a big Lego Star Wars update in the coming months (as well as the return of Klombo, everyone's favourite dinosaur) and that Fortnite Festival will soon see a crossover with Billie Eilish. It's currently very hard to tell if the leak is real, and it seems to have split Fortnite leakers.
Although there are parts of the leak that seem to be more realistic than the others (such as the artwork for the Mad Max themed season), I personally think that the leak is leaning closer to being faked. It's got the Fortnite community talking, though.
HYPEX says that they're unsure whether it's real, but that it looks like "the most real-looking one" that they've seen, while shiinaBR says that it seems impossible to confirm or deny the leak right now. With a Fortnite Festival Season 3 announcement planned for the near future, it seems like that will be the best bet at giving evidence to it, especially if Billie Eilish is involved.

Next week’s free Epic Games Store title has seemingly been revealed ahead of its official announcement.
Just yesterday, we learned that Billie Eilish would be headlining Season 3 of Fortnite Festival, the free-to-play music mode which has slowly but surely cornered the periphery market. With the update now live, there were a few welcome extra additions. For starters, guitar controller support for Harmonix's previous effort, Rock Band 4, is now available, meaning those dusty old axes can finally be put to good use.
The Bad Guy herself, Billie Eilish, will be the next musical megastar to grace the Fortnite Festival mainstage, following in the footsteps of Lady Gaga and The Weeknd. Eilish revealed she will take the stage today, 23rd April, presumably with a list of free-to-player bangers.
Epic Games has announced that FortniteFestival season 3 will feature pop star Billie Eilish.
You may be able to give those plastic Rock Band guitars you have stuffed away in the attic a new lease of life. Fortnite Festival (a Rock Band-style mode that debuted in Fortnite in December) now supports several Rock Band 4 controllers across PlayStation, Xbox and PC, as detailed in a blog post.
Fortnite Festival should feel even more like Rock Band today, as guitar controller support is finally added to the game mode. Only certain controllers are compatible, but it at least makes it possible for some of us to recreate the good ol' days of rhythm games being playable with big plastic controllers, even if not all the instruments are available right now.
The latest Fortnite Festival update has finally added support for Rock Band 4 guitar controllers.
For fans of all things green and subversive, you’ll be delighted to know that Billie Eilish is coming to Fortnite — and we’ve got the release date and what to expect explained so that you can dive straight in.
Over four months after Fortnite Festival was released, Harmonix and Epic Games announced that the rhythm game now supports Rock Band 4 plastic guitar controllers.
Metroid’s Samus Aran missed out on an appearance in Fortnite because Nintendo wanted the character to only be available on the Switch version of the game.
Fortnite is making some changes to how «confrontational» emotes are displayed to other players. While Fortnite does not currently allow players to speak directly to enemies, emotes have frequently been used as a taunt after eliminating an enemy player. There are some emotes like «Take the L» or «Laugh It Up» that can be seen as toxic to some fans of the series, which can ruin the enjoyment of the game for some players.
