MapleStory is celebrating its 19th anniversary with a special event, a new playable class, and new rewards to earn.

Nearly two years on from its launch, Nexon and Neople’s acclaimed fighter DNF Duel doesn’t have the most active player base, but it’s continuing to receive new additional content. Not, it’s next DLC character has been unveiled.

The Finals developer Nexon is reportedly working on a new game based on Game of Thrones. Nexon saw a lot of success with the release of The Finals last December, and it seems like the developer is looking to replicate this with the popular book franchise and HBO show.

LawBreakers — the hero shooter from Cliff 'CliffyB' Bleszinski that was shut down after a poor launch — is making a bit of a comeback thanks to a group of dedicated fans.

Five years after LawBreakers shut down, we're getting to play the gravity-defying multiplayer FPS again thanks to fans. LawBreakers was the first game from Boss Key Productions, a studio co-founded by Gears Of Wars lead designer Cliff Bleszinski, and it had delightful ultraviolence beneath its uninspiring genric look. Alas, it did not sell well. Boss Key closed less than a year after launch, and the game soon followed. But after years of work, a group of fans this weekend successfully ran the first public test for a workaround to play the game again. While there's no clear launch plan yet, more playtesting will follow.

An unofficial fan-made launcher for Lawbreakers has made the game playable again for the first time in six years.

MINTROCKET will release DAVE THE DIVER for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on April 16, the developer announced. It will also be available as part of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.

A year after being removed from Steam, Ironmace's Dark and Darker will be available on the Epic Games Store.

Fighting game DNF Duel has made a new addition to its roster with Monk. The new character is a holy warrior that fights primarily with his fists. Monk is the fourth character released as DLC for DNF Duel, and is designed as being a well-rounded fighter whose moveset revolves around his up-close attacks.

I’m not personally familiar with Nexon’s 2010 MMO Vindictus, but its upcoming action-RPG spin-off Vindictus: Defying Fate is looking like a fairly flashy mix of Celtic mythology, dodge-and-slash swordplay and some sharp visuals. Luckily for me and you, we’ll be able to give it a go for free for the next week, as the game’s pre-alpha playtest is now live over on Steam.

Arc System Works will release a physical edition of DAVE THE DIVER dubbed DAVE THE DIVER Anniversary Edition for Switch on May 30 worldwide for $39.99, the company announced. Pre-orders are available now at retailers.

Nexon will host a public pre-alpha play test for newly announced action RPG Vindictus: Defying Fate from March 13 to 6:00 p.m. PT / 9:00 p.m. ET to March 18 at 1:00 a.m. PT / 4:00 a.m. ET, the company announced.

Nexon has launched a teaser website in celebration of its 30th anniversary. It will open on March 14.

Following its announcement at The Game Awards 2023, Nexon has released a new gameplay trailer for The First Berserker: Khazan. Based on the Dungeon and Fighter series, the single-player action RPG focuses on Pell Los Empire general Khazan. After facing betrayal and exile, he sets out on a quest for revenge and to wreak havoc on his enemies.

During today’s Xbox Partner Preview, audiences were treated to two minutes of gameplay footage from The First Berserker: Khazan. The bloody action RPG was first revealed in December 2023 and is being developed by Korean studio Neople, best known for their multiplayer RPG Dungeon Fighter Online.

Earlier this year, Microsoft’s first-party focus Xbox Developer Direct returned with a second edition, and so, too, is its third-party focused Xbox Partner Preview coming back for an encore. The company has announced an Xbox Partner Preview focused for later this week, on Wednesday, March 6 at 10 AM PT.

Nexon has announced a new action RPG for PC. Titled Vindictus: Defying Fate, the game will be inspired by Celtic mythology. As its name might imply, Vindictus: Defying Fate will share the same setting as the MMORPG Vindictus.

Despite Nexon being in the process of shutting down Warhaven in April, the game has just gotten a brand new character, and Valentine’s Day event. There’s also a brief update on that shutdown process too. 

Nexon has announced it is pulling the plug on its free-to-play PvP medieval fantasy game Warhaven just four months after it launched in early access.

Dark and Darker developer Ironmace has said that a preliminary injunction filed by Nexon for trade secret and copyright infringement was dismissed by the court.

Nexon's Warhaven revealed that it's shutting down later this year. The unfortunate Warhaven news comes just four months after it began its early access phase in September.

Developer and publisher Nexon has announced that medieval multiplayer free-to-play title Warhaven is coming to a close. The game’s online services are being taken down on April 5. In the announcement, the studio said that players will not be able to purchase in-game items, as WP charge is being suspended today.

Dave the Diver developer MintRocket has revealed its next game, a PVP team-based arena battler called Wakerunners. The studio’s first project,released in mid-2023, is a whimsical pixel-based adventure game. Its appealing gameplay loop sucked players in, leading Dave the Diver to be an unexpected viral success, surprising even the developer.

MINTROCKET has announced top-down team battle action game Wakerunners for PC (Steam). A pleytest is scheduled for February 5 to 12.

After Destiny 2: Legacy Collection, Epic Games’ daily free games promotion to celebrate Christmas has begun. The newest free title is Nexon’sDNF Duel, a fighting game based on Dungeon Fighter Online developed by Eighting, Arc System Works and Neople. It recently became available on the storefront earlier this week along with Battle Mage.

Nexon’s latest DLC character for DNF Duel, the Battle Mage, is live on all platforms. Part of the $19.99 Season Pass (and available standalone for $6.99), she specializes in close-quarters melee combat with her spear. By generating magical Chases and consuming them, she gains powerful effects and attacks for an advantage.

Co-op shooter The First Descendant has gotten a new trailer during The Game Awards 2023, announcing a Summer 2024 release window for the upcoming title. Check out the new trailer, which primarily showcases the game’s general themes and mood with a pre-rendered cutscene, below.

Arad Chronicle: Khazan, the “single-player hardcore action RPG” based on the world of Dungeon Fighter Online, is officially titled The First Berserker: Khazan and will be available for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam, publisher Nexon and developer Neople announced. Nexon has announced the next DLC character for the 2.5D fighter DNF Duel – Battle Mage. Launching on December 18th with Meister’s Laboratory, a new stage, she’s the third Season Pass character after Spectre and Brawler. Check out some of her abilities below.

The Korean version of Maplestory has had this update for several months, so many enfranchised players have at least seen much of what the update offers.

Nexon and licensor Koei Tecmo have announced Dynasty Warriors M, an action RPG based on Dynasty Warriors 9 for iOS (App Store) and Android (Google Play). It is available now as a soft launch in Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia as a free-to-play title with item-based microtransactions, with a worldwide launch to follow this winter.

Free-to-play multiplayer action game Warhaven will be available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series alongside its previously announced PC (Steam) version, Nexon announced.

Nexon’s DNF Duel has received its second DLC character: Brawler, a sub-class of the Fighter who favors dirty tactics and winning by any means necessary. With chains, Poison Mines, needles, exploding barrels and nets, he can quickly shift the momentum of a fight. Check out the developer’s thoughts on Brawler here and extensive matches of him here.

Nexon’s next DLC character for DNF Duel, Brawler, is out next week. The development team has already discussed and showcased some of his abilities, but how does he fare in actual matches? Developer Teyon and publisher Nacon have announced that the release for RoboCop: Rogue City is getting pushed back from its original September release window. The game is now slated for release on November 2. The delay was revealed by Shinobi602 over X.

Free-to-play multiplayer combat game Warhaven will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on September 21, developer Nexon announced as part of Gamescom 2023: Opening Night Live.

Nexon had a busy Opening Night Live today, dropping trailers for a few of their upcoming games. The First Descendant, the multiplayer looter shooter RPG, got a trailer ahead of next month's beta, while Warhaven saw a trailer highlighting its September 21st release.

The First Descendant’s cross-platform open beta will be kicking off a little over a month from now, ahead of which Nexon has offered another look at the upcoming free-to-play looter shooter with a new trailer, putting the focus this time squarely on a single character.
