DNF Duel is Free on the Epic Games Store

I don’t want to leap to hyperbole in the first week of the year, but I am quite confident in saying that The Brothers Sun has the best fight scene with men in inflatable dinosaur costumes that I’ve seen in 2024. Sure, it’s the only one I’ve seen in this or any year, and I doubt there will be another anytime soon. But that doesn’t diminish how much it kicks ass. It’s simply great to start the year with a show that capably gives me something I’ve been lacking in television for some time: a series that is just as interested in good goofs as it is killer brawls.

The big festivals in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful happen every so often as you play through the game. Unlike other farming simulators, such as Stardew Valley, these festivals do not have notable dates and times within the game. They don’t happen at specific times, but these are important events that you do not want to miss in the game.

Players will have secrets to unlock when upgrading their tools in Story of Seasons: A Wonderful Life. Each tool obtained at the start of the game has unusual potential, if the correct steps are taken to unlock them.

One of the best superhero games, Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, just went on sale on the Epic Games Store, and for a few more days, players will be able to snag the fantastic title for free.

The game from developer Eidos-Montreal didn't perform exceptionally well financially, but is one of the more endearing titles released in 2021. being the headliner for EGS's holiday giveaways is not only a good conclusion to the season, but will help this often overlooked third-person, action-adventure shooter reach a new, wider audience.

The action-adventure game A Plague Tale: Innocence is currently on a monster sale right now at the Epic Games Store, with it being completely free to download and play.

Vampire Survivors was a big enough sensation that it instantly inspired a horde of similar games to spawn. 20 Minutes Till Dawn was one of the more worthy: a topdown, 2D roguelite with a similar sense of spectacle and progression, but with traditional weapon aiming.

Saints Row's 2022 reboot is currently free to keep from the Epic Games Store. It's bittersweet considering its developer, Volition, was closed down in August, but it's also an opportunity to experience the last game the 30-year-old studio got to make.
