However, the company announced that the showcase will contain extended looks at the upcoming games Tales of Kenzera: Zau, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, and The First Berserker: Khazan.
Tales of Kenzera: Zau is a side-scrolling action game from EA Originals and indie developer Surgent Studios launching on April 23. The upcoming Xbox showcase will feature an extended look at the game’s combat and traversal.
Meanwhile, Capcom’s Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess is a third-person action game inspired by traditional Japanese folklore and artwork. Players control a warrior tasked with defending the Spirit Stone Maiden as she cleanses a sacred mountain of supernatural corruption. The game doesn’t have a release date yet, but will be coming to Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PS5.
Finally, Nexon and Neople’s The First Berserker: Khazan is a dark fantasy action RPG spin-off of Neople’s Dungeon & Fighter (or DNF) series. General Khazan was once a great hero who saved the Pell Los Empire from Hismar the Berserk Dragon. However, after being betrayed by the empire he once served, Khazan must survive his pursuers in a deadly wilderness. Its gameplay and aesthetics are reminiscent of From Software games. However, it preserves DNF’s anime-inspired character designs.
