New Xbox Game Pass titles for console, PC and Cloud have been revealed

Xbox Game Pass subscribers can now mark June 18 on their calendars, as that's the day that day one horror game Still Wakes the Deep will join the popular subscription service. New Xbox Game Pass announcements typically happen through the official Xbox blog posts, but there are times when information about upcoming Game Pass titles come from other sources as well.

Xbox Game Pass members can play Evil West with their subscriptions starting today. Developed by Polish studio Flying Wild Hog, the action-packed third-person shooter is the tenth title to reach Xbox Game Pass in March 2024.

Microsoft has pulled the curtain back on the rest of the Xbox Game Pass games coming in March 2024, as well as some of the games that are on the way in April. Xbox Game Pass has added another day one game, Lightyear Frontier,which is launching in early access on March 19. Developed by Frame Break, the indie game combines farming sim with mech gameplay, and adventurers can explore the colorful open world of Lightyear Frontier solo or co-op with up to three friends. Players will use their mech’s machine gun to plant seeds or equip it with a chainsaw to gather resources while establishing a homestead on a distant planet.

While may sell itself on its vast catalog, not every title is there to stay. Three games, including MLB the Show 23, will leave Microsoft’s subscription service at the end of March.

The announcement of a new game added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in March seems to be taking an aim at its competitor, Xbox Game Pass. Depending on the PS Plus subscription tier, players have access to a full library of titles they can download and play, even if they do not own them properly. Each month, new games are added to the library, essentially offering more benefits. The catalog was added once Sony remodeled its subscription service.

Correspondence from 2K suggests that NBA 2K24 will only be available on Xbox Game Pass until August 31, 2024. Xbox Game Pass games are removed on a regular basis, but it's rare for subscribers to know a game's removal date months in advance.

Persona 3 Reload players can currently grab the game’s complete Expansion Pass on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Expansions and DLC packages are not normally offered on Xbox Game Pass as part of the subscription, so this is a unique opportunity for Persona fans.

Xbox Game Pass is adding NBA 2K24 to its content library later today, March 11. Unlike the vast majority of titles that make their way to the service, the latest entry in the NBA 2K franchise won't be available to Xbox Game Pass users on PC.

Until April 7, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers can claim the free horror movie The Mist for their digital libraries. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate perks change regularly, and while they are mostly focused on giving away free content for live service games, sometimes they give away free movies as well.
