DNF Duel Gameplay Showcases Brawler Versus Swift Master, Enchantress and Kunoichi

Remedy Entertainment has shown off a great deal of new gameplay footage for Alan Wake 2 over recent days and weeks, and with the long-anticipated survival horror sequel now less than a month away from launch, that rollout has continued with more extensive, new footage, courtesy of a recent round of hands-on previews.

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has received new gameplay and details thanks to various hands-on impressions over the past few days. However, the development team hosted a stage event at Tokyo Game Show 2023 to show off even more, from The Grasslands and its mini-games to more combat. Super Mario Bros. Wonder is going to be the first new 2D Mario platformer in some time, and with the title promising a new approach to the series’ 2D line of games, there’s obviously plenty of excitement surrounding it. And ahead of its launch, which is now under a month away, Nintendo has released a new gameplay overview trailer for it.

Publisher Nexon, and developers Neople, Arc System Works, and Eighting have announced DNF DUEL downloadable content character Battle Mage (voiced by Nanami Yamashita). She will launch in December.

Various hands-on impressions and new gameplay for Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth have gone live as Tokyo Game Show 2023 kicks off. Two portions of the game are showcased – Fated Beginnings: Cloud and Sephiroth, which takes place in the past and The World of FF7 Rebirth: Junon Area, set after the events of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is out next January, and a new video is available outlining the story and various cutscenes. Fortunately, there’s also some new extensive gameplay showcasing the Hawaiian setting, combat and much more. Check it out below.

Microsoft and Xbox representatives appeared in court earlier this year to get its $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard legally greenlit. Per usual court proceedings, various emails, documents, and more were sealed away from the public and press, but many unseen documents leaked this morning. It's how we learned Xbox head Phil Spencer considered acquiring Nintendo and Warner Bros. Games at one point, and that Microsoft is planning an Xbox Series X/S refresh with a new controller for next year. Other documents point to potential remasters of Fallout 3 and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, alongside other games.

Nexon’s DNF Duel has received its second DLC character: Brawler, a sub-class of the Fighter who favors dirty tactics and winning by any means necessary. After a long, long wait, Alan Wake 2 is now finally approaching release, and with a little over a month left until the survival horror sequel’s launch, new details and gameplay footage are continuing to be doled out at a regular clip. IGN has also uploaded a hands-on preview of the game, revealing plenty of new gameplay footage and details.

Publisher SEGA and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have released new information and screenshots for Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name introducing the Coliseum, Carabet Club, Pocket Circuit, Karaoke, Boutique, arcade and Master System games, and darts.
