Nexon has added a new Hero+ mode to action MMORPG Vindictus . The new mode offers extra challenge to those who want it, adding new layers of difficulty to monsters and bosses.
The hack n’ slash action means that many monsters could fall under your skilled attacks, but the team is shaking things up a little bit for some variety in the Celtic mythology-inspired MMO. The new mode is available for level 115 region raid battles at its introduction. If you choose to play this way, prepare for the monsters and bosses you face to present more of a challenge.
Using your skills strategically becomes extra important, since you don't have the ability to suppress, stun, or even partially destroy monsters. They also have stronger attacks and different mechanics and combat patterns, meaning you'll have to learn the new patterns while also facing a more difficult challenge. There’s no word on whether they’ll eventually apply this to other features and activities, but to update some older content with new challenges and mechanics is one way to deepen the experience with additional options.
There are also some additional events in Vindictus to consider, including a holiday event and a special progression event. The holiday event, Colhen’s Secret Santa, is running through January 2nd and you can earn yourself some year-sne holiday gifts through the login campaign and more.
The Level Jumping event is on now through January 23rd. If you’re a new or returning player, this will get you right into the thick of things fast. You can advance directly to level 105 and you can rent +15 level 110 Ardri weapons.
