With Dragonflight Season 4 looming, now is a good time to pursue appearances that will be unobtainable for a while after Season 3 ends. With the launch of Dragonflight Mythic+ Season 3, Blizzard added three unique weapon appearances to former Legion dungeons. Chief among them is Lord Ravencrest's own weapon, Ravencrest's Wrath. While they won't be going away forever, likely returning when these dungeons return to the Mythic+ rotation, this could take years to happen. As they are unavailable on any other difficulty, and have not been added to the regular loot tables, these will be sunset when Season 3 ends.

Evidence of what appears to be a long-running history of exploitive behavior has been uncovered after a series of +30 keys with suspiciously high death counts and impossibly fast boss kills appeared on Raider.io! Using what are most likely anima powers taken out of Torghast, the group of exploiting players managed to complete several +30 keys, including Murozond's Rise, Waycrest Manor, Atal'Dazar, Darkheart Thicket, and Galakrond's Fall. Despite attempting to hide their characters, community resources identified the suspicious runs, as well as identifying information contained within. At this point in time, this does not appear to be a widespread exploit, though it is not a particularly new one either.

After the latest Afflicted hotfix, players are still noticing that the Afflicted are still bugged and acting as players for the purposes of Smart Heals. Afflicted has been on a wild ride with the release of Patch 10.2.5, being able to be targeted by boss mechanics and friendly player buffs which Blizzard claims to not longer act as players. This seemed to fix Augmentation Evoker buffs and boss mechanics, but it seems that Smart Healing still thinks that Afflicted Souls are players and eating Smart Healing, even when the party isn't topped. Check out this log where Smart Healing did a lot of healing to Afflicted Souls from Ancient Teachings and Jadefire Stomp. There have also been reports of other spells such as Convoke the Spirits and Call Eagle Spirit targeting the Afflicted still but this has not been confirmed at this time. This can be a positive or a negative depending on what you want to do.

As guilds continue to defeat Mythic Fyrakk in Amirdrassil, the elusive Cinder of Companionship required for Hunters to tame the fiery flying spirit beast Nah'qi and Feather of the Blazing Somnowl granting Druids a new flight form are now confirmed to be awarded upon learning Reins of Anu'relos, Flame's Guidance! While this revelation may be cause for rejoice, it also comes with the unfortunate realization that all three rewards appear to be locked behind Mythic difficulty. It turns out all three are awarded together, and only on Mythic difficulty! Although Nah'qi was tamable for a brief time after the launch of Patch 10.2, by using a Shaman or Mage to crowd control the spirit beast during taming, this was quickly patched out with all instances of the pet removed. Attempting to tame Nah'qi normally returns the message «you haven't proven yourself to this spirit,» which datamining told us the Cinder of Companionship was clearly meant for, though its acquisition remained an elusive mystery up until this point.

It’s the third Mythic skin in a row that’s notably underwhelmed the Overwatch community, in part because the skin looks so similar to an already available cosmetic for Orisa.
After 449 pulls, Method has defeated Mythic Fyrakk the Blazing, securing a World Third ranking in Amirdrassil! Congratulations! Team Liquid has claimed the World Second victory over Mythic Fyrakk the Blazing after a grueling 463 pulls, finishing Amirdrassil and concluding their Season 3 Dragonflight race event! Although the tier started out seemingly easy, with the first six bosses taking less than 10 pulls to defeat each, and Smolderon requiring just under 60, Team Liquid experienced a sudden and massive jump up in difficulty upon encountering Tindral Sageswift, which between bugs and tuning would cost them a staggering 435 pulls, cementing it in the top 10 world first pull count bosses of all time. Fyrakk initially seemed like it might be quicker, but the constant bombardment of raid mechanics and instant raid wipes turned it into a long and arduous affair, resulting in a far tighter race than we've seen in recent history. Although Team Liquid got there first, they went back and forth with Echo, setting a series of new best pulls from 9.58% for Echo to 6.51% for Liquid, followed by a 1.79% lead for Echo just barely edged out with a 1.72% wipe by Liquid as their pull counts grew into the four hundreds. Although Echo would secure victory and Liquid suffered a heartbreaking 0.66% wipe, Team Liquid's perseverance in spite of losing first place kept them going long enough to finally take the Incarnate down with a pull count that eclipsed even Tindral's progression. Mythic Amirdrassil Race to World First Coverage
With the world first victory over Mythic Fyrakk, the world first legendary axe Fyr'alath the Dreamrender has also dropped directly from the boss! While we wait for more information, it looks like the item drops directly, though it appears to be unequippable until completing a quest, similar to crafting up Nasz'uro, the Unbound Legacy for Evokers. Interestingly, the axe also doesn't appear to be personal loot either, as the explosion of excitement and energy after the world first kill resulted in most of the players passing, with the weapon ultimately looted by Meeres. The first Evoker legendary also wasn't personal loot though, so this doesn't necessarily mean that subsequent ones won't be. Who got the legendary?! It's unclear what this means for the rest of the world, if the weapon is indeed meant to only drop on Mythic difficulty or whether it will also unlock for players on lower difficulties after the next weekly reset the same way Nasz'uro did in Patch 10.1.

As for the effect, there's very little information on that yet either — the on use effect simply reads: Wield the might of The Blazing, becoming enveloped in its Shadowflame. This also restricts it from being wielded, as attempting to equip the axe literally envelops the player in Shadowflame — beginning the legendary questchain. Attempting to equip the weapon goes badly, but begins the legendary questline to claim its power. We're sure to find out more in very short order, though it's also interesting to note that the available classes includes a mysterious «Adventurer», but this is probably just a leftover internal test setting on Blizzard's part.
The Amirdrassil Race to World First is finally over! Echo has defeated Mythic Fyrakk the Blazing, finishing the Amirdrassil Race to World First as the Season 3 World Champions of Dragonflight! Congratulations! In a grand finale to Amirdrassil, the exhausting progression against Fyrakk the Blazing took Echo 344 pulls, second only to Tindral Sageswift's staggering 399, both a massive step up in difficulty from the first seven bosses of what almost looked like an easy tier. While the final boss was buffed well before its first pull, progression also saw two nerfs to the encounter, significantly nerfing Colossus health in Phase 2 and reducing Fyrakk's total health by 4% as it began to look like the boss might just be unkillable. Fyrakk also proved to be an epic back and forth over five days of progression, and one of the closest races we've seen in recent history. Picking up an early lead at 9.58% boss health remaining, Echo raided until exhaustion finally overtook them in the early morning hours of the 12th day of the race, waking to find Team Liquid once again in the lead with a 6.51% wipe, yet the Incarnate remained undefeated, and Echo regained the lead for a few hours after a 1.79% wipe before Liquid again pulled ahead with a scant 1.72% remaining. As their pull counts grew into the three hundreds, it looked like anyone's game as both guilds were just one good pull away from victory, before Echo finally found the last bit of skillful execution needed to bring Fyrakk down once and for all. Liquid has now reached Phase 3 of Mythic Fyrakk and we've gotten a first look at the mechanics!
In a hotfix about an hour ago, Blizzard nerfed Phase 2 of Mythic Fyrakk.
Echo has achieved world second Tindral Sageswift after 399 pulls, bringing them to Fyrakk and closing in on Liquid as we near the end of the Amirdrassil race to world first! Congratulations! As mentioned previously, Tindral has been an epic slog of an encounter, with both guilds taking around 400 pulls to defeat and cementing it within the top 10 of highest pull count bosses. Fyrakk doesn't seem much easier though, as although it appears to be devoid of major progression blocking bugs so far, it features an intense onslaught of rapid fire mechanics with very little breathing room or room for error. Time will tell who pulls out ahead, as this race heats up! Mythic Amirdrassil Race to World First Coverage
